It develops through a show-in-progress, a designer in residence, site-specific and material-specific projects, and it will end with an auction: so the COUNTDOWN marks all the creative process, from the realization of t

he artwork by the designer till the confrontation with the market and the alienation to the collector. It concerns not just a re-use of trash, but also a new and different use of obsolete and waste materials, ri-qualifying then, by inventing a new function or creating a whole new product.
