Nel Parco Naturale, Artistico e Culturale della Val d’Orcia e proprio davanti a Pienza, si innalza la bella collina di Lucignanello dove sulla sommità a 470 m s.l.m. si trova fin dal Medioevo un’antica e solitaria fattoria fortificata. L'Agriturismo Lucignanello si erge sulla viva roccia che affiora tutt’intorno e che è stata adoperata per recuperare gli annessi adiacenti. All'interno dell'Agritur

ismo sono stati mantenuti materiali naturali e tradizionali: pietra, cotto, calce, legno. Nella ristrutturazione degli ambienti inoltre si è cercato di tenere presente i criteri della Bio architettura. I mobili, le travi a vista dei soffiti e tutte le parti in legno, sono stati ristrutturati e trattati con vernici ad acqua. Siamo una famiglia che da oltre vent’anni ha scelto di lavorare in campagna con il metodo biologico. Ci troviamo in Val d’Orcia, la terra delle crete e dei calanchi; vicinissimi a Pienza, sulla sommità di una collina in un casolare circondato da olivi e querci secolari. In questo ambiente cerchiamo di condividere con gli ospiti il silenzio, la semplicità, la soavità dei ritmi e della qualità della vita.

In the Val d’Orcia Artistic, Cultural and Natural Park, right in front of Pienza, rises a gentle hill called Lucignanello, where an ancient farmhouse is situated, at 470 meters above the sea level, ever since the Middle Ages. The farmhouse Lucignanello stands on the living rock, which has been used to decorate the surrounding annexes. Inside the house, natural and traditional materials have been preserved: stone, terracotta, and wood. The principles of ecological design have been followed in the renovation of the house, and non-toxic water paints have been used for the furniture, the raftered ceilings and all the wooden items. Our family has chosen to work in the countryside using the organic farming since over twenty years. We live in Val D’Orcia, the land of clays and gullies; a few steps away from Pienza, in a typical homestead on a hill surrounded by olive trees and ancient oaks. In this particular environment we try to share with our guests the taste for silence, simplicity and the sweetness of the country life, in terms of quality and rhythms.

In the Val d’Orcia Artistic, Cultural and Natural Park, right in front of Pienza, rises a gentle hill called Lucignanello, where an ancient farmhouse is situated, at 470 meters above the sea level, ever since the Middle Ages.

Being our guests you have the chance to be in an authentic, exclusive and historical environment.

The farmhouse Lucignanello stands on the living rock, which has been used to decorate the surrounding annexes. Inside the house, natural and traditional materials have been preserved: stone, terracotta, and wood.
