🇮🇹 SEPOLCRO DI EURISACE
Il Sepolcro di Eurisace è la tomba monumentale di un fornaio romano, Marco Virgilio Eurisace, e di sua moglie, Atistia, risalente al I secolo a.C. e collocata esternamente alla Porta Maggiore.
Il monumento funebre, realizzato in travertino ed avente un fregio tutt'attorno con rappresentate tutte le fasi del procedimento di panificazione, proteggeva anche un'urna contenente le ceneri di Atistia, avente forma di una madia da pane.

The Sepulchre of Eurysaces is the monumental tomb of a Roman baker, Marcus Virgil Eurysaces, and his wife, Atistia, dating from the I Century BC and located outside the Porta Maggiore.
The funeral monument, made of travertine and having a frieze all around it representing all the phases of the baking process, also protected an urn containing Atistia's ashes, in the shape of a bread chest.

Da oggi sulla facciata di è possibile scoprire l'opera dell'artista francese JR Artist.

Un trompe-l’oeil spettacolare di più di 600 metri quadrati una fantasia architettonica che orchestra l'incontro tra spazi fedelmente evocati da Palazzo Farnese, in omaggio alla sua storia, e che sembrano scaturire da una materia minerale, suggerendo profondità sia spaziale che temporale. è realizzato nell'ambito dei lavori di ristrutturazione di Palazzo Farnese, "illustrando" il desiderio dell'Ambasciata che il palazzo resti "aperto per lavori” per tutta la durata del cantiere.

Siamo un po' ritardo con l'esito del concorso perché ticketinrome.com è stato tutta la giornata di ieri al fianco del Nuovo Cinema Palazzo , a San Lorenzo, quartiere in cui la nostra prima visita guidata di avrà luogo.

Il cinema Palazzo era più di un luogo qualsiasi.

È un luogo occupato per allontanare la manomessa degli speculatori sulla vita degli abitanti.

È un luogo dove ieri hanno tentato di cancellare un pezzo della storia recente del quartiere.

È un luogo dove attività sportive e socio-culturali hanno avuto luogo per quasi dieci anni.

È un luogo occupato inizialmente per impedire la proliferazione potenziali d'influenze malavitose e promuovere la creatività.

È un luogo in prima linea quando si parla si solidarietà, in prima linea contro il virus e tutta la precarietà che ne deriva.

È un luogo in cui le idee veicolate erano l'antirazzismo, il femminismo, l'equità tra tutti.

Hanno tentato a rimuovere l'umanità e la condivisione, parole che hanno un senso enorme, sopratutto oggi.

🇮🇹 Perché Roma non è soltanto il centro storico, iniziamo una campagna di visite guidate destinate a fare scoprire tre quartieri ai Romani (ed ovviamente a tutti quelli che vogliono fare parte delle visite).

Perché abbiamo sempre piacere a scoprire le città più lontane nonostante abbiamo tanto materiale storico-sociale a portata di mano dobbiamo riscoprire le nostra città.

𝘼𝙂𝙂𝙄𝙊𝙍𝙉𝘼𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙄 𝙇𝘼 𝙎𝙀𝙏𝙏𝙄𝙈𝘼𝙉𝘼 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙎𝙎𝙄𝙈𝘼.

🇬🇧 / 🇺🇸 Because Rome is not only the historical centre, we begin a campaign of guided tours intended to discover three districts to the Romans (and of course to all those who want to be part of the visits).

Because we always take pleasure in discovering the farthest cities despite we have so much historical-social material close to us, that is why we must rediscover our cities.
