Thank you to all who have reached out and all who have donated.

So many Treasurebeach Jamaica homes have been destroyed. But many hands are showing up to help! In addition to speedy government action and many community leaders, we’ve got Global Empowerment Mission, The American Friends of Jamaica, Inc. and World Central Kitchen on the ground.

Thank you Abbie Townsend, the exquisitely talented chronicler of our community (among other skills) for these beautiful and moving photos.

Rainbow Tree and all our staff are in great shape. Lots of cleaning up to do, but very minimal damage.

Please donate to help rebuild. A group of some trusted community members will help assess the damage and distribute funds according to need. The Treasure Beach Women’s Group will distribute food, clothing, baby supplies, school supplies and feminine hygiene products.

Our incredible Dr Vish is already offering daily clinic hours at Kingfisher Plaza.

Thank you to all who have reached out to check on us and our home in Jamaica. Our beloved Rainbow Tree Villa is in remarkably good shape, but much of the surrounding homes of Treasure Beach are devastated. So many roofs blown off. See pics below of neighbors’ houses. Thankfully, there have been no reports of injuries or death. The rebuilding will take a long time. Likewise, getting power back. Clean water is short. We are housing several families, friends and aid workers but many people don’t have a safe home to get back to. This community is so extraordinary. Everyone is pitching in to help each other. Please send a donation in any amount to assist in the recovery effort.

Rainbow Tree and all our staff and friends are unharmed. However, our beloved community of got the brunt of . Thankfully, the damage is the kind that can be rebuilt. But many livelihoods destroyed. Farmers, shop-keepers, vacation rentals, restaurants, and other businesses are devastated. Thank you all for your offers to help. Please see link in bio.
