Data Analyst – Statistician (3 vacancies)
Responsibilities:
1) Design, develop, and implement database management framework and procedures.
2) Data management skills: data cleansing, data transformation, and exploratory analysis; and file management & archiving.
3) Computer programming skills, particularly in data management and statistical software such as SQL, R, SAS, E-View and Matlab etc.
4) Process and analyze the data in context, looking for patterns to help make decisions, advice on findings and recommend strategy.
5) Developed and implemented computer code to support statistical analysis of data and modeling.
6) Interpreting the data and making sure that the right decisions are made based on the results.
7) Presenting results to senior managers, regulatory authorities, clients, etc.
8) Advising policymakers on key decisions based on results.
9) Writing reports and articles for publication.
Qualifications:
Deep knowledge in statistics, financial risk, and data analysis is preferred at Master’s Degree level. Previous academic and industry experience in financial data analysis; 1-3 years of working experience in the development of quantitative models in the financial industry
International Market Researcher (3 vacancies)
Responsibilities:
Extract and analyze primary and secondary marketing and/or sales data (including identification and appropriate use of data sources) to understand market size, growth, treatment patterns, pricing, geographical opportunities, and competitive environment within the pain market.
1) Expertise in international trade research, analyze markets/industry based on their trade behavior.
2) Local market research to identify most potential export product.
3) International market research to identify export opportunity, involving complex primary and secondary data (including identification and appropriate use of data sources).
4) The researcher is responsible for moderately complex trade development and analysis assignments.
5) Determine primary market research design and ex*****on (including vendor/project management when appropriate).
6) Collect, synthesize and analyze market information from a diverse source of secondary data, as well as web-based data sources.
7) Support strategic decision making with co-marketing, and co-promotion analysis
8) Support ad hoc marketing research needs/consultation on questions/issues not normally falling under the scope of traditional product-oriented marketing research analysis
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, MBA desirable, 3+ years qualitative and/or quantitative market research experience.
Economist (3 vacancies)
The Economists should use specialist software and advanced methods in statistical analysis to assemble, sift and present this information, which is then used to advise internal businesses functions and other clients/organizations, including government agencies.
Areas of research can cover any aspect of international economic and trading policies, ranging from interest rates, tariffs & duties, transport and international development, which is the central rule.
1) Advise all target audience segments on economic topics
2) Design policies or make recommendations for solving economic problems
3) Write articles for publication in academic journals and other public media channels
4) Analyze the economic impact of transport infrastructure developments;
5) advising government, employers or trade unions on the economic implications of policy options;
6) Producing research on the global economy to utilize international economic organizations and forums, e.g. the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the G-20.
7) Studying how exchange rates affect the competitiveness and productivity of KSA and international trade;
8) Preparing briefs for government ministers and answering ministers' questions.
International Trade Policies Expert
Responsibilities:
1) Expertise in WTO policies, protective measure, non-tariff barriers of trade, tariff regimes.
2) Capability to develop a matrix that highlights KSA position (for each industry) across different markets and how to best utilize WTO to access markets.
3) Assess the impact of any new Free Trade Agreement (FTA and/or RTA that KSA may consider.
4) Capabilities to draft product list protected/released proposals, Rules of Origin (RoO), general provisions for potential FTAs.
5) Study and analyze domestic and foreign trade data to develop information and guidance for client businesses.
6) Evaluate economic, market and other factors affecting trade within an industry or geographic area.
7) Contribute to development of trade strategies and positions. Coordinate functions related to government-involved trade events. Meet with business and industry representatives to provide export counseling.
8) Provide research and other assistance to senior specialists working on trade development programs or negotiating teams.
9) Generate complete and technically sound work products. Ensure that controversial questions, external conflicts, administrative problems and similar matters are discussed with the supervisor
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in international Business, MBA desirable, proven experience in WTO related field would be a plus
