Sandra & Marco visit Wadi Rum. We started the tour Lawrence Spring, where is the watering place for camels and goats. It's a great opportunity for climbing up, the view from there to Khazali Canyon is amazing. After Awwad explained the old water map made on the rock from Bedouin long time ago. It shows about the water places surround. There also is a rock with ancient inscriptions and drawings from the time of Nabateans and people the pilgrimage to Mekka. Close to sunset we choose a quiet spot to enjoy and found for the night a gorgeous place in the white desert. Walking before diner that's cooked on fire. We talked til late in the night sitting surround fire and forgot the time. Next morning we visit the Cow Rock and hiked barefoot back to the village in silence. Letting go the thoughts and being in a timeless dimension is so powerful and connecting with the beauty of our environment. Welcome for to experience the power of silence. 😌

The trip with Junnie & May, two Chinese woman living in Australia, brought much fun and we created more or less a "ladies tour". We climbed, hiked and they loved to make fotosessions 😃, we made some yoga and took quiet time for meditation, feeling the nature in a timeless dimension. They came with much questions and interest about this Bedouin culture and lifestyle from past and now. They questions about the rule of the woman, talked to the Bedouins sitting with them by traditional sweet Bedouin tea. They enjoyed to be simple in a simple lifestyle with collecting firewood in the night for cooking dinner, wondering about this beautiful starry sky in the middle of white desert. Everyone is invited to come and express and share the curiosity, making yourself happy or sad with something what touched you deeply. Love & Peace to everyone 🤗

Travelers spend mostly 1day/1night in Wadi Rum. It's very short for to see at all. So the best way to experience how much as possible it's a jeep tour combined with hiking and climbing. We went out with Lena, Marcel & Santiago for visiting Khazali Canyon, running Red Sanddune, hiking trough this beautiful Abu Chashaba Canyon, climbing Um Frouth Arch and enjoyed an incredible sunset in the white desert. It was new moon time, it means the night totally dark with innumerable stars at the sky and the milk way so shiny. Next morning after sunrise and good breakfast we hiked back 3h to Rum village, passed by Little Arch and arrived full of impressions.

Juliette visited Wadi Rum, we spent one day together for a walk to Shelalah Spring, the most beautiful Spring in Wadi Rum. We filled up our waterbottles with Spring water, climbed up in the mountains and found a small quiet spot with shadow. We took rest for a while, enjoyed this peaceful quiet time. In the evening we went out for a beautiful sunset in the desert. Short visit and long memory, Love & Peace for you Juliette

Adam & Weronika, a nice couple from Poland, visited us for exploring the desert of Wadi Rum by hiking. Why not - everything is possible and they had a lot of fun, it seems they never became tired 😉. Once we made a Jeep tour to Jabal Burdah, Middle Arch and on the way we discovered a water source for the camels and "stone beings" in the mountains. Many surprises are waiting for you in Wadi Rum desert - it makes life here always new.

The trip with Isabel was incredible. At sunrise we started our 3h walk to Burrah Canyon. After that our feed burned and Awwad picked us up for a Jeep tour to visit his grandparents. They are living an authentic old bedouin lifestyle with camels and goats in the white desert. You get many impressions between sunrise and sunset, listening to the noises of nature, watching beautiful light shows from the sun, climbing and hiking, collecting firewood for cooking dinner and in the end we slept deep and quiet under the starry sky. It's such a pleasure when travelers are open for alternative ways to experience the desert - it opens our hearts and brings people together. Thank you Isabel!

Henning and Janine were our first guests we hosted since we're online with our homepage. We made a full day Jeep tour with sleeping under the stars. They enjoyed everything - climbing rocks, running down the sand dunes, the silence of the nature, Awwad's home made food on the fire and Bedouin tea all the time. While having beautiful talks we forgot the time and the fire burned until late in the night. After a short but intense sleep and a Bedouin breakfast we continued the tour until Lawrence spring. A camel ride brought us back to the village 🐪 Thanks for booking us on www.desertheart.co. Our passion is showing the land and the life of bedouins in an authentic way, making connections between people and this beautiful country. We love to see visitors leaving as different persons after this experience and finding the bliss.

The desert is home to our Bedouin tribe. Even today my grandparents are living there with their camels and goats. Like many other Bedouins and according to the change of seasons, they move from place to place. It is important to us to share and let you experience the values of their life, which is dedicated to simplicity. Here you can find the different activities we offer. We are always open to create tours according to your wishes and and longings. Take your time to find out what you want to experience. All tours are combinable.
