Call me at +855972030333/+77480707 Squa-come! Welcome to Siem Reap. My name is Savath Chea. During my ten years of experience as a tuk-tuk driver in Siem Reap, I have had the privilege of meeting visitors from Australia, Germany, Great Britain, the United States, Canada and many other countries from around the world. I have taken four years of English instruction at a private school here in Siem R
eap and have improved my English further through my decades of conversations with visitors to Cambodia. When visitors come to Siem Reap, I offer a comprehensive transportation and guide service, picking customers up from the airport, bus station or ferry terminal; quenching their thirst with a cooler full of icy bottled water that I replenish throughout their stay; and bringing them each day from their place of accommodation to the Angkor Wat site, the floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake, the scenic countryside and other attractions around the city. I like to form personal relationships with my clients, taking them to local restaurants (if they're interested), learning about their country and keeping up with them on Facebook after they leave. I offer four set tours, but I am also open to negotiating prices for more personalized itineraries. Small Tour - $15*
This seven to eight hour tour is the best introduction to the ancient splendors of Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. Starting at Cambodia's grandest architectural gem, visitors are also taken to Ta Prohm, a visually striking temple complex where stone structures co-exist with 500-year-old trees. Then we go down the road to Banteay Kdei, known colloquially as the "temple of monks," built during the 12th and 13th centuries. Big Tour - $18*
Recommended as a second-day excursion for visitors who want to see some of the smaller and lesser known temples in the Angkor Archaeological Park. The tour begins at Preah Khan, a massive, symmetrical temple builtas a monument to the father of King Jayavarman VII. The Big Tour also includes stops at the Neak, Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup temples. After a day of temple-trekking, visitors are taken on a beautiful 30-minute tuk-tuk ride past lush rice paddies and roadside houses erected on stilts to Tonle Sap Lake, Cambodia's largest lake. For an extra fee, visitors can then travel on a sunset tour of one of the floating villages on the lake, where fishermen and women live year-round in houseboats that rise and fall with the lake's seasonally fluctuating water level. The Adventurer's Tour - $30*
This tour takes visitors away from the typical Ankor Wat tourist sites, bringing them 37 kilometers from Siem Reap to Banteay Srei, a jungle temple dedicated to the god Shiva. A little farther on, we'll visit Kbal Spean, a small, untouched waterfall. On the way back, we'll stop in a countryside village to watch the locals pick, cook and extract sugar from the palm leaf. We'll also see the small temple of Banteay Samre. Beangmalea Tour - $35*
The opposite direction of Banteay Srei, the Beangmalea temple, 55 kilometers east of Siem Reap is even less seen by Western eyes.
* For sunrise or sunset tour, add $3.
