Bandula National Park is a wildlife reserve located in Sri Lanka. The park was declared a national park on October 25, 1993. It was established to conserve the biodiversity of the region and to protect the watershed of the nearby Kuda Oya River.
The park is approximately 3,694 hectares. It features a diverse landscape, including hills, plains, and rocky outcrops.The park is home to species such as the Sri Lankan elephant, sambar deer, Indian muntjac, and wild boar. A wide range of bird species can be found here, making it a haven for birdwatchers.
