Sri Lanka Ancient Kingdoms & the North - Motorcycle tour July 2023
Sri Lanka Ancient Kingdoms and the North has just ended.
13 days taking in most of the historical and cultural sites of the island, including Kandy, Dambulla Cave Temple, Polonnaruwa archeological site, Sigiriya rock fortress, Jaffna and Anuradhapura.
We visited the historical town of Nuwara Eliya, traveled through the Knuckles mountain range and took a rest day on the untouched beach of Nilaveli, near Trincomalee.
The tour ended with a Safari at Wilpattu National Park full of wildlife, although we weren't lucky enough to spot a leopard.
