Magical Palais Bahia ✨

Dating back to the late 19th century, it was commissioned by Grand Vizier Si Moussa for his personal use and to host official receptions. The construction of the palace spanned several years, with various additions made by subsequent rulers.

The name "Bahia" means "brilliance" or "beautiful" in Arabic, reflecting the grandeur and splendor of the palace. It was intended to be one of the greatest palaces of its time, showcasing the finest Moroccan craftsmanship and architectural styles.

Resilience ❤️ One week after the strongest earthquake our country has known in 120 years, we are working together to heal. In 2 weeks time our Riad will be as good as new! 😊 To show you the advances of the works in our Riad we have chosen the song “The Mountain” by Noureddine, inspired by a Gnawa ritual, a music said to be therapeutic and played during the night to cleanse a person of bad spirits. 🤍 Our people is strong, and we dedicate them The Mountain song: as a mountain it rises out and above any struggle. 🗻 The flights to Marrakesh are still active and, although you will now visit a Medina with new scars, we are still waiting for you.
