The batbout is an oval bread typical of Morocco, which is baked in a pan. The dough is made only with water and a mix of semolina and white flour. Excellent for breakfast, we recommend accompanying it with argan oil or argan butter with a sprinkling of chocolate powder.

The French-Moroccan architect Zevaco designed the "Globe" in 1975. This installation is located in today's United Nations Square in Casablanca. It was once Place de France and served as a link between the old medina and the new city centre.

The Majorelle gardens are a quiet oasis in Marrakech where you can find refuge, especially in summer and especially if you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the medina and the souks. It was the painter Jacques Majorelle who created it in 1923 as his artistic studio and painted it the blue that was named after him.
In 1980, Yves San Laurant restored it together with his partner Pierre Bergé, who donated it to the city.

Pottery making has a long tradition in Morocco and perhaps the most famous is that of Fes, but there are other cities that boast equally prestigious workmanship.
This is the case of the ceramics of Safi, a town facing the Atlantic Ocean which, thanks to the clay and natural fuels (broom) used to heat its kilns, became the first ceramics centre and the first ceramics school in Africa. Don't miss the Potters' Hill! 😉
