بمناسبة شهر رمضان المعظم ، نقدم لكم بعض المعلومات حول نخيل التمر : تعتبر زراعة نخيل التمر في المغرب ذات اهمية بالغة لما لهذه الشجرة من ادوار اساسية على الصعيد البيئي والاقتصادي والاجتماعي بالمناطق الصحراوية والشبه الصحراوية . وتقدر مساحة النخيل بالمغرب بحوالي 48 الف هكتار وعدد الاشجار بحوالي 4 ملايين و 800 الف نخلة . كما يقدر معدل الانتاج السنوي للتمور بحوالي 70 الف طن ، قد يصل الى 100 الف طن في بعض السنوات الجيدة. على المستوى الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ، يساهم قطاع النخيل في المدخول الفلاحي في هذه المناطق بنسب تتراوح بين 40 و 60 ٪ ويوفر فرص الشغل لعدد لا يستهان به من سكان الواحات . كما توفر اشجار النخيل العديد من المخلفات ( كالجريد والسعف والكرناف والليف ) التي تستخدم في استعمالات عدة : الصناعة التقليدية ، الاستخدام المنزلي ( انتاج الطاقة وتثبيت الكثبان الرملية ) . يتبع
