Happy Thadingyut to all our friends and followers!
Shwedagon pagoda at sunset - a beacon of hope in the dark of the night!
for all our friends, guests and followers all over the world who are missing beautiful Myanmar and it’s wonderful people these days - brighter days are hopefully soon to come! We miss you too!
The Timelapse video was captured by Uncharted Horizons Myanmar founder and director Jochen in Myanmar - who is also working as project coordinator for SONNE Social Organization - providing free education healthcare for children from the slums of Yangon’s South Dagon township.
Uncharted Horizons and Sonne Social Organisation do not officially belong together- but are working together closely in many areas, for the benefit of marginalized communities (in refugee camps, slums, orphanages or literally on the streets) and especially children!
If you would like to support the work of Sonne Social Organisation, you can leave us a donation through this link - or simply get in touch with us via messenger or WhatsApp +959450062960

Thank you very much- and we hope to be able Yo welcome you back to a free and safe Myanmar again very soon - on a bike tour to the River island (we still run these daily!), or adventurous trekking in Chin state (impossible at the moment) - or many other activities we’ll have ready for you, once we are free to move all over the country again!
Love from Myanmar

Cycling the beautiful Thanlyin forest - a part of our Full day tour to Kyauktan (start/end tour Yangon)
7am-4pm, 50-70km depending on route
Available daily
On this tour there's so much more to see obviously, unfortunately we can only post one video at a time, and no mixed video/picture posts - so please enjoy the forest for now - at some point on the left side you can see the stairs leading up to a very old pagoda (there's several in the area).
So this tour is not only suitable for Adventurers, but also for history -buffs - we can adapt it then accordingly - not only this tour, but all of our tours are completely flexible and adjustable to your personal interests - give it a try - we promise you won't regret it!
See you soon at Uncharted Horizons Myanmar !
