Good-morning,
After discussing with all stake holders over the week end ,we came to a conclusion that the Malawi Motor Show dates should be changed due to the Political situation in Malawi. Please note the following changes.

CANCELLED: Malawi Motor Show,Friday and Saturday 30th and 31st May, 2014 at Blantyre Sports Club ,Blantyre

NEW DATE: Malawi Motor show date is Friday and Saturday July 4th and 5th,2014 at Blantyre Sports Club.
Number of areas were looked into to come up with the cancellation
1-Malawi Police could not guarantee the number of security details we had requested,hence it would have put Vehicle display units and other equipment at risk.
2-Mbc-tv Outside broadcasting(OB) equipment is currently stationed at COMESA,covering live events from the tally center
3-As the corporate event would have taken place at night,it would have been risky for people to travel at night in the current political situation.

Every thing else remains unchanged We have arranged to keep the schedule as it was previously. We will keep you informed with more developments in due course.

MALAWI MOTOR SHOW ATTRACTS FOREIGN EXHIBITORS
We are pleased to announce that this years motor show has attracted the foreign brands coming in to support their locally based dealers, Bosch will be sending Two expert technicians from Bosch south Africa and Telplus Zambia-a vehicle car tracking company is yet to finalize their confirmation to participate.
Bosch technicians will be support their official dealers Royal Motors and I can confirm that the technicians are flying in through Chileka airport on Saturday.

Whether you need a repair, seasonal maintenance or travel check-up, your vehicle – whatever brand it may be – Bosch has a reputation to assure car owners that they are in the very best hands. From mechanics to electrics and diesel technology – their professionals are experts and work with state of the art testing technology which is already in the country and will be installed at Blantyre sports club for vehicle owners to have first hand experience in workshop technology and mechatronics. On Friday around 11 am vehicle owners can book This inspection uses their vehicles for free vehicle inspection testing equipment performed by Bosch trained technicians having the expertise and technical know how to properly access the vehicles.
This will be the first of its kind to offer free vehicle test to motor drivers apart from vehicles testing we have also invite Malawi Blood transfusion which will have their stand for visitors to the motor show to donate blood as blood plays a major role when it comes to road accidents this is just one of the many activities that are scheduled to take place at the two day event.

Inspector : What is her height ?
Husband: I never checked.
Inspector : Slim or healthy ?.
Husband: Not slim can be healthy.
Inspector : Color of eyes ?
Husband : Never noticed.
Inspector : Color of hair ?
Husband : Changes according to
season.
