Though it was a rainy Sunday we are glad that our workshop participants were able to attend our unique little Mango Sticky Rice Workshop. brought their creative flair in reinterpretating traditional kuihs into a more diverse food offering that is unique to this fun workshop.

Bring your child or inner child along this Sunday to our unique workshop! Create your own cute creations as guides you through the process of creating their own interpretation of Mango Sticky Rice. Floccus Floccus is a new fresh addition to the Petaling Street community, existing within the PSCC space. They create a breath of fresh air for the community as they recreate traditional classic food and drinks, that will hopefully create awareness of these foods for the next generation.

Join us this Sunday morning as we bring your back in time with an enchanting Erhu performance by Tommy Chin. He began this journey since joining Chinese orchestra in primary school.
After graduating in compositio, piano and Erhu he has been performing for over 20 years in Singapore, Hong Kong and many more. He also founded “Tommy Music School” with students from all over the world and published “erhu 12 lesson “ book.

陳宏偉，小學開始加入華樂團，學習二胡。畢業於世紀學院大學，主修作曲，副修鋼琴、二胡。擁有多年舞台演出經驗，曾到新加波、香港等國家演出。二十多年的教課經驗，學生有來自印尼、中東、瑞典等國家，2019年榮獲中國人民大學頒發的“最佳指導教師”榮譽。近期創辦了“陳宏偉Tommy老師音樂課室”，以及出版了“二胡十二堂”二胡書。

Creating more activities for children within Petaling Street.

Today marks the opening day of the Petaling Street Children's Library at PSCC. We are grateful for the support from all the parents and children who took time to participate. We would also like to thank YB Fong, MP of Bukit Bintang for dropping by and KL Host chapter of Lions Club for their support. Also special thanks to .artspace for loaning us their beautiful screenprinted posters & angpau to spruce up the space.

Thanks to ThinkCity for inviting the PSCC team to MOU signing between Think City and Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur. We are grateful to be one of the grantees for this round of DowntownKL grant. With this we hope to kick-start our plans to create activities that showcases the Petaling Street culture to an even wider audience. It was also a delight meeting other grantees.
