Kuang Si Falls, the famous icy cold turquoise waterfall located about an hour from Luang Prabang, Laos. Entrance fee would cost around 20,000 KIP (USD 2.50 / MYR 10). Do check out the Sun Bear Rescue Centre upon entrance. Plus, you can hike up to the top of the waterfall and it only took about 20 minutes.

Ban Xang Hai or known as the Whisky Village here in Luang Prabang, Laos. About 45 minutes ride from the town. Bike rental would cost around 100,000 KIP (USD 12 / MYR 54) per day. You can find some Lao Lao (Whisky) made entirely from scratch here and also do some silk shopping. If you enjoy cruising down the Mekong River, hop on to their slow boat tour from Luang Prabang.

This is Vang Vieng, Laos. This town lies on the Nam Song River. Famous for the river tubing activities (Bar hoping while cruising down the river on float) which now are slowly losing its hype. Do go for kayak instead. You'll definitely love it!
