MY STORY IN MANGU LGA...
Date: 22nd December, 2016.
I dropped from the cab, then picked my phone to call the biker to take me in. In a minute he asked were i was and then he came down to pick me. He ramped through the breeze pushing us backwards with his Bajaj motorcycle. First destination was Swan Water mega plant, in Kerang of course. This industrial structure stood eminent as i walked through the gate to see the manager or just anyone i can make some inquiries. Flapped by the aesthetic beautiful of the erect edifice, i walked through the compound like i was lost, well yeah i was. After the long conversation, in fact, i bragged about my Bachelors degree in Industrial Chemistry...lol...i walked right back and out to meet the biker again. Then we zoomed off to the next destination without hesitation....
We sped through the hostile rocks and the coarse road way, if i was pregnant i would have had a miscarriage... but then, the anticipation blew an excitement on my face, i kept smiling profusely like a dog wagging his tail at the sight of its owner. Here we landed, the famous Kerang Spring in Tsohon Kerang called "Punduk" (forgive my spelling, just right as pronounced..lol..)
I walked to see the jawdropping magnificent creation of God. Water kept gushing from the ground like a ceaseless tap...wow! i was blown away. I saw locals washing and bathing in the Spring while i was jabbed my unbelievable amazement. I would have stayed there all day, my so much love for nature....
I quickly returned to the biker again, because i was becoming addicted to the seen, perhaps finally i wont come back anymore. We rode again to a place called "Ampidong" few kilometres away from the Swan plant. This place is spectacular in its own way and let me tell you why. Not only that it is between rocks formed by volcanic eruptions so many years ago, it is rumored to be the biggest natural lake in West Africa and the water changes color according to times in the year.
