Last night’s Aurora hunting ended with amazing Aurora around 02pm so early morning at the 09th of March. Very smooth moving then suddenly exploding.Coronas after coronas. Just Amazing! Wow

Samenes nasjonaldag, 6. februar, feires til minne om det første samelandsmøtet som ble holdt i Trondheim i 1917. Dagen markerer fellesskapet på tvers av landegrensene på Nordkalotten. Samefolkets dag markeres i Norge, Sverige, Finland og Russland. I Norge utgjør fest og aktiviteter for barn og unge en sentral del av feiringen. I regi av skoler og barnehager gjennomføres gjerne samiske tema og prosjekt i dagene før nasjonaldagen, og på selve nasjonaldagen blir det stadig mer vanlig med høytidelig feiring og fest. Selve feiringen består gjerne i å pynte seg i samiske kofter, ulike former for kulturinnslag og et samlende måltid som ramme. Dagen ble offisiell flaggdag i Norge i 2004.

Sami National Day, 6 February, is celebrated in memory of the first Sami country meeting held in Trondheim in 1917. The day marks the community across national borders on the Nordkalotten. Sami People's Day is marked in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia. In Norway, parties and activities for children and young people form a central part of the celebration. Under the auspices of schools and kindergartens, Sami themes and projects are often carried out in the days before the national day, and on the national day itself it is becoming increasingly common to have solemn celebrations and parties. The celebration itself usually consists of dressing up in Sami jackets, various forms of cultural elements and a gathering meal as a setting. The day became official flag day in Norway in 2004.

So our best auroras and coronas was not optimal… but still very good.
