1st of April. This is not an April's Fool, this is one of the strongest Auroras of the season (again)! What a great grande finale for us. We were a bit disappointed especially in February, when we had high expectations, but Aurora was weak for weeks, but finally since mid March it's great again. We gonna miss you Lady Aurora! We will be back late September definitely.

Last night, we embarked on an unforgettable northern lights chase to Skogsfjord! Despite facing some stubborn clouds along the way, we persevered until we reached the stunning Skogsfjord, where the skies finally cleared up for us. After a while waiting by the fire, we started to observe the northern lights and just when we thought the aurora display the night before was the best of March, last night's show left us in awe once again. It was a truly spectacular!

26th of March lands in our personal ranking TOP 5 best auroras in 2024. Do you agree? We went also to perfect spot in Laksvatn with absolutely stunning reflection in the water. We gonna miss this kind of Auroras, because it's almost end of the season for us.

Last night finally we had some proper dancing lights, also cold nights back in town. We had just -15 degrees yesterday during a tour 🤭 It was also full moon yesterday, so photos looks like taken during a day.

Last night, we were eagerly awaiting the arrival of a massive Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) from the sun, which promised to bring us a spectacular aurora display. With a KP8 (G4) level magnetic storm forecasted, anticipation was high for the strongest aurora of the year.

However, Mother Nature had other plans. The CME arrived earlier than expected, when it was still daylight here. By the time darkness fell, solar wind was already a bit weaker. Despite this, we still managed to capture some stunning photos and enjoy dancing show. Sometimes forecast push expectations too high.

Stay tuned for more updates on our aurora adventures!

Last night's Northern Lights tour was quite the experience! Despite the full moon and lack of vibrant colors visible to the naked eye, it was a fantastic night for capturing mesmerizing shots of the Auroras. The bright moonlight may have dulled some of the colors like pink, but it added its own magical glow to the sky. A memorable evening for all our guests!

Last night's northern lights hunting took us 90km away from Tromso to Ringvassøya! Despite finding optimal conditions, we were greeted with a barely visible Aurora😔. It was a stark contrast to the amazing show we witnessed just the day before. Despite the weak activity, we remain hopeful for more spectacular displays in the days to come!

Despite challenging weather conditions, last night's northern lights chasing expedition turned out to be a remarkable experience! We braved through difficult weather to find optimal viewing spots, and our efforts were rewarded as the Aurora shone and danced in full glory. Despite the high expectations set by the equinox and solar maximum, Aurora exceeded all expectations, painting the night sky with its breathtaking display.

Last night's northern lights chase was full of surprises! Despite the forecast being completely off, we embarked on our adventure towards Finland in search of clear skies. But after just 30 minutes of driving, we were greeted with the first glimpse of the aurora dancing in the sky! From then on, it was an enchanting journey as we encountered the northern lights at every stop along the way. Even as we made our way back to town, the sky treated us to a beautiful show just before 1 am.

Nature's unpredictability never fails to amaze us, and last night was a testament to that!

Last night's northern lights tour was an adventure filled with unexpected twists and turns! Despite relying on weather forecasts, we found ourselves driving from one location to another in search of clear skies and the elusive auroras. But with our teamwork and determination, we prevailed and were rewarded with stunning views of the northern lights. It's moments like these that remind us of the beauty and unpredictability of nature, and the joy of experiencing it together.

Last night we had another extraordinary show! After weaker activity in February, right now Aurora is burning every night! Definitely we are closer to solar maximum and also closer to equinox. If you would like to experience this phenomena, we have some last minute cancellations for tomorrow, so book your spot before it will be too late.

Last Saturday, 9th of March, our team embarked on an extraordinary journey in pursuit of the Northern Lights! Venturing 170km away from Tromso, we sought out the perfect conditions to witness this natural phenomena. And oh, what a sight awaited us! After a patient wait, the sky ignited with an incredible display of dancing auroras. Sky was on fire🔥 It was an unforgettable experience, and every effort was rewarded tenfold.

Last night despite difficult weather conditions we managed to find great gaps in the clouds to observe the northern lights. Yesterday was also International Women's Day and we need to remember that Aurora is a woman. She decided to celebrate this day with incredible dance. What a crazy show it was.

Happy International Women's Day to all the incredible women, who were chasing with us during this season! 🥳

Last night, we embarked on an unforgettable aurora-hunting adventure! Our journey led us to witness the most beautiful display of the northern lights this year. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting as we gazed upon the dancing lights against the backdrop of Tromsø's coastal area. We can't wait to see more in March!

Last night we drove to one of our favourite places on the coast nearby Tromso. Probably you already saw this place in some of our photos, but it always delivers breathtaking views. At the beginning we had already amazing northern lights, which later were a bit weaker. Anyway it was magical evening, when we could sit by the fire, surrounded by spectacular mountains.

3rd of March, this is definitely at least TOP 3 of the season. It took us a while to publish it, because Antonio came back with 4gb of photos and we couldn't choose the best ones. We decided to have some days off at the beginning of March, but HOPEFULLY we chose 3rd of March to go and chase the lights. We don't know who was more happy, our crew or our guests, especially after a week of weaker activity.

Can't wait for more in March!

Last night we had crazy northern lights hunt. We were expecting some snowstorm and wind coming from Lofoten islands and first places, where we suppose to have better weather were 2,5h drive south of Tromso. Without any hesitation we started our adventure to find clear skies and possibilities to see the northern lights. Everything was like in the forecast, from 11pm we started to see stars and shortly after we saw also northern lights. The best Aurora came after 1am, so it was really looong tour, but everyone's happy!

During our last night’s chase our dedicated team led the way, navigating through various locations until we found the perfect spot. Changing places several times allowed us to seek out optimal conditions for aurora viewing. Although the presence of the full moon diffused Aurora, but also it added its own enchantment to the night sky.

Did you know? The brightness of the moon can impact the visibility of the aurora. A full moon illuminates the sky, making it harder to see the fainter auroral displays. However, this didn’t deter us from enjoying this natural spectacle to the fullest!

Join us on our next adventure and let’s chase the northern lights together!

Last night's Northern Lights chase took us on an unexpected journey! Initially we went to Ramfjord not so far from Tromso, where we found good conditions to observe Aurora, but the lights remained quiet.

When it got worse, we decided to drive further south to Skibotn. And once we came there, Aurora didn't let us wait for her. Check our latest photos from last night! While the bright moonlight enhances the beauty of the landscape, it can also wash out the fainter auroras, making them less visible to the naked eye. Yet, as luck would have it, we managed to catch a mesmerizing display despite the moonlight.

Stay tuned for more aurora adventures and let's keep chasing those magical lights together!

Last night, we embarked on an unforgettable adventure along the coastal area of Tromsø! (finally! After so many days with long drives). We went to western part of Kvaloya island and despite the strong south winds, we were determined to find the perfect spot under the clear night sky. After a bit of waiting by the bonfire, the sky finally came alive with dancing Auroras. While they may not have been the most intense we've ever seen, they were certainly breathtaking!
