The Ghorepani P**n Hill Trek is one of the famous treks of the Annapurna region which can be done within 5 to 6 days. During this trek, we get the opportunity to explore the forest side full of Rhododendron, Oak trees beautiful birds, and other animal.

The main attraction of trekking is P**n Hill (3,210m) from where we can view breathtaking view of Mt. Fishtail 6,993m, Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167m, Annapurna South, Annapurna I 8,091m, Tukuche Himal 6,920m, Nilgiri 6,940m and Himchuli 6,441m. It is one of the shortest and easiest treks including major points of attraction like Ghandruk and P**n Hill.

Ghandruk is also famous for internal tourists of Nepal. In Ghandruk one can take the Gurung cultural dress for rent and takes some antique picture with it.

In contrast to other hiking destinations like Island Summit, this summit is genuinely undiscovered. Days before Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay reached the summit of Everest, on May 20, 1953, Sen. Tenzing and Col. Jimmy Roberts completed the first ascent. Because of its easy route to the top, the mountain has grown in popularity among hikers and climbers over the years.

You leave the Everest Base Camp route at the airfield in Lukla and enter a seldom-visited area that is solely interesting to trekkers and mountaineers. It’s an amazing hike that follows the Hinku Drangka River through forests of pine and rhododendrons. The untamed valley is home to a variety of wildlife that is not often seen on regular hiking routes, including black bears, deer, and many leopard types, including the elusive snow leopard. Even yet, it still takes luck to find one of these.

Visit Nepal in October and enjoy the Tihar festival!
Kukur Tihar or Kukur Puja literally means the worship of dogs. This is a mini-festival within a larger Hindu celebration of Diwali, the festival of lights. According to Nepalese tradition, one of the festive days is dedicated solely to the human's most devoted friend and guardian. In Hindu religion, a dog is a sacred animal, intended to have a special bond with a human, so as to accompany us on our way to heaven.During Kukur Tihar, the canines are treated with special love and admiration. Each one gets a flower garland or "malla" placed around its neck. The forehead is painted with a paste named "talik" or "tikka" made from red-colored powder, rice and yogurt. This marking symbolizes their sacredness. Dogs' favorite part of the celebration is to feast on various goodies ranging from fruit and cookies to eggs, milk, cheese, meat, and high-quality dog food. There're no exceptions on this festival—each dog, whether home-owned or stray, receives such a special treatment. Even Nepalese Police Dogs can feel the holiday spirit. Besides being granted with a day off and general festivities, they also partake in a special march designed to mark the occasion.
