Limited Flights - Book Now

As the government decided to reopen domestic flights from this Thursday, July 1, onwards, according to the plan, the Kathmandu airport will carry 64 domestic flights a day. There will be a maximum of five flights in an hour.

Buddha Air has announced it will operate inter-province flights from May 1. Managing Director of Buddha Air, Birendra Bahadur Basnet, said that this step would prove to be a milestone for inter-province flights. Buddha Air will now fly from Pokhara to Biratnagar, Pokhara to Simara, Pokhara to Nepalgunj, Tumlingtar to Biratnagar and Bharatpur to Bhairahawa.

At an altitude of 3,710 m., the foothills of the Thorong La Mountain pass of Mustang district in Nepal lies a sacred pilgrimage for both Hindus and Buddhists, Muktinath temple. The journey to Muktinath passes through many archaeological sites and temples. Devotees from across the country visit Muktinath temple to worship the deity. Trip to Markhu, Makwanpur even during the Covid-19 pandemic

To promote domestic tourism even during the Covid-19 pandemic, travel tour operators of Kathmandu visited Markhu in Makwanpur district.

One of the major attractions in Markhu is boating. In the section of food, the fishes there is famous food with typical Nepalese local Daal Bhat. Bheda Farm is also one of the attraction points in Markhu where the doom shaped hill locks with green pastureland pose a vibrant beauty.

Indrasarowar Lake was created due to the Kulekhani dam. It is the largest man-made lake in Nepal and is the only reservoir-based hydropower in Nepal and the first hydro-power dam of Asia. The lake looks peaceful and beautiful along the typical Nepali village lying between the gorge of Markhu and Kulekhani VDC. With a suspension bridge over the lake that has added beauty and an extra viewpoint of Indrasarowar, it is also popular for hiking.
