The aka Indigenous People Trail is a relatively new trail located in the west District, 130 kilometers east of , offers exposure to one of Nepal's most culturally diverse areas as well as scenic landscape. Visitors are welcomed into the culture and way of life of indigenous communities such as Sherpa, Newar, Thami, Tamang, Yolmo, and Majhi. The start and finish points are marked by Peak in the north and Sun Koshi River in the south.

The week-long trail takes visitors from 3,146 m at Sailung to 533 m at Lubughat by the Sunkoshi River. After reaching Sailung, visitors can see the entire 400-km Himalayan range, including the Annapurna, Ganesh, Langtang, Rowaling, and Kanchenjunga Himal ranges. The IP Trail, which is situated on the Mahabharata Range, is a homestay-based cultural trekking experience that can be completed in 7 nights and 8 days and is an excellent choice for trekkers as well as mountain bikers.
