Trekking or hiking is a significant attraction in Nepal and has been offered since the 1960's. The two most popular treks in Nepal are trekking to Everest Base Camp and trekking either around Annapurna or the Annapurna Circuit, which goes right around the Annapurna Himalayan range. There are numerous other treks available in the Everest, Annapurna and Langtang regions. We offer treks to Gokyo valley, the Lake and the top Gokyo Ri where one can enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu and other Himalayan mountains. Other popular regions include the Langtang, Helambu, Makalu, Manaslu, Kanchenjunga, Dolpo and Rara. In western Nepal we specialise in classic and adventure treks. We can organise trekking over high passes for those who relish mountain challenges. You can also enjoy the cultural richness of Nepal en route by meeting some of the ethnic groups like Sherpa, Gurung, Rai, Thakali, and by viewing ancient monasteries, temples and sacred lakes on the different trekking trails. "White Himalayan is proud to present this wonderful group of 16 hikers from USA, France and Belgium who recently completed the Everest Base Camp Trek with ,Kalapattar, Chola Pass and Gokyo Ri. All 16 of them are from the deaf and mute community, which makes this hike all the more special for them and for us! And it was also made possible as we have a guide, Cheeri Sherpa who himself is deaf and mute; making it easier for us to plan and ensure the success for this group. So, no matter who you are or what circumstances you are in, it is possible to enjoy a successful hike with us, as we have the necessary experience!
