Yaks are the legend from Everest Region of #Nepal ❤️ Have you ever seen Yaks? 🇳🇵 Everest Base Camp Trek, Nepal @marlonpegoraro 🇳🇵 Everest Base Camp Trek, Nepal Os iaques domesticados aqui do Himalaia são mantidos pelas famílias sherpas principalmente pelo seu leite, fibra e carne, e como animal de carga, afinal grandes cargas ( como por exemplo botijões de gás) precisam ser transportadas montanha acima e montanha abaixo por seres mais fortes que os sherpas (e sim, acredite, eles existem - são os Yaks!!). A fisiologia dos iaques é bem adaptada à grande altitude. Eles têm pulmões e coração maiores do que o gado encontrado em altitude mais baixa, e também maior capacidade para transportar o oxigênio através do seu sangue. Aqui na região do Khumbu, as mulas podem transportar até 60 kg no lombo, no entanto, quanto mais alto vamos, percebemos que os Iaques é que assumem o transporte das cargas, e com uma capacidade ainda maior - de até 100 kg. Esses animais são fundamentais para as aldeias, levando suprimentos vitais para as comunidades locais. O Instinto: quando esas criaturas mastodônticas se aproximam, em especial num trecho da trilha em que não há praticamente espaço para nós dois ao mesmo tempo, instintivamente o que deve ser feito é pular para a encosta rapidamente. Melhor ser amassado contra o paredão, que voar para o precipício – mas não como um pássaro!! SEMPRE a prioridade de passagem é deles, seja subindo a montanha ou descendo.
