𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁.

A team of 14 international climbers and 18 Sherpas, joining the “Imagine Nepal 2024 Everest Expedition,” reached the summit of the world’s highest peak, Mt. Everest, in various hours between NPT 5:15 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on the morning of 21 May 2024.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 ⛰️ 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟯𝘁𝗵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰: 𝗠𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘂 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗮

Congratulations 🎉 to Mr. Cranford Stoudemire, an American 🇺🇸 climber, and Nima Nuru Sherpa for their triumphant ascent of Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, on May 13th at 6:10 am NPT.

Scaling the summit amidst freezing temperatures and fierce winds, they stood out among the few climbers to make it to the summit that day. Mr Cranford is a member of our 21 Days Everest Express ascent team at Imagine Nepal, but due to unpredictable mountain weather in Nepal, he had to wait extra days at the base camp. It took him 25 days from Kathmandu to go to the summit and return to Kathmandu.

We would like to congratulate 👏 our friend Dr Sashko Kedev from Macedonia on the successful summit of the fourth highest mountain in the world on 13th May 2024 at 7:33 am NPT. For Dr Sashko, Lhotse is his second 8000-meter peak for this season. On 5th May 2024, he reached the summit of Makalu with three other international climbers and four Sherpas from Imagine Nepal.

Including the summit of Lhotse, Dr Sashko has completed 10 of the 14 highest peaks in the world. His next move is towards Kanchenjunga the third highest peak.

As the spring expedition season is approaching, we had a great start with the summit of Himlung today, 1st April, at 3:00 pm. We wish our Himlung team a safe return to the base camp. We congratulate 👏 Mr Miguel Madrid Lopez from Spain and our climbing guides, Angdu Sherpa and Dipan Gurung .86 , and Mrs Maria Soler from Spain and Pem Chhiri Sherpa, on reaching the halfway point to the summit. Our next expedition is to Kanchenjunga.

As we reflect on our expeditions in 2023, we must recognize the opportunity to venture into unexplored mountains in Nepal. This year, our focus was also on alpine-style technical climbing experience.

⛰️ Drahmo Peak in the Kanchenjunga area with its imposing north-west face and towering height of 6855m.

⛰️Nemjung, located at an elevation of 7140m. This climb involved a long traverse via the southeast face of Kechakyu Peak, starting from the Bimtang side of the Annapurna region.

⛰️Chobutse via its North-East face in the remote Rolwaling area. Rising to an impressive height of 6685m, the peak demanded a blend of technical expertise and mental fortitude.

⛰️Yubra Himal, standing tall at 6048m in the Langtang region.

Alpine climbing is about more than just reaching the summit. It’s a journey that demands meticulous route study, experience, and the implementation of different climbing techniques.

We are thrilled by the overwhelming response from all the adventurous souls eager to embark on our Everest Expedition for 2024. However, we regret to announce the closure of booking for the 2024 Everest expedition from the south side as we have reached maximum capacity. We are honoured by the remarkable enthusiasm and trust placed in Imagine Nepal.

In 2024, we will lead two distinct groups representing Chinese and international climbers. The esteemed Mingma G (IFMGA) will lead these groups, along with our seasoned Expedition Managers, including Furtemba Sherpa (IFMGA) and Dawa Gyalje Sherpa (IFMGA), and our experienced Field Supervisors, Dawa Tenjin Sherpa and Tamting Sherpa. They will ensure a safe and unforgettable experience for all participants.

For those unable to join us this year, we are pleased to announce that in 2025, we will organize two groups: a Chinese group and a non-Chinese group. Each group will consist of a maximum of 15 climbers, providing personalized attention and an unwavering focus on safety. Every climber will be assigned a dedicated Sherpa to provide constant support and guidance throughout the expedition.

Although bookings for the South Everest Expedition in 2024 have closed, we still have limited spots available for our expedition from the north side. Pa Dawa and Bear Grylls together climbed Mt. Everest in 1998 and it was the first time for both. Since then has climbed 26 times more and today he and Kami Rita are only two people to have climbed Everest 27 times and - is well known adventurer. After 25 years, they met for the first time. Thanks to . Marton climbed Everest in 2023 with Pa Dawa and he is the youngest Everest summiter from Hungary. Bear Grylls climbed Everest as youngest British in 1998.
Pa Dawa today works with us and he is very happy working with team.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 👏 Nicoline Moland and Mathilde Moland from 🇳🇴, and Sonam Tashi Sherpa on the successful ascent of Lobuche Peak on 26th October 2023! Scaling to such heights with an elevation of 6119 meters from sea level for a beginner climber is truly a remarkable achievement.

All three of them are heading to Chukkung to attempt Island Peak, a technically difficult compared to Lobuche East Peak. We wish them the best of luck.

𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗯𝘂𝗷𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲!

Two alpinists from Poland, Wadim Andrzej Jabłoński and Maciej Jan Kimel, Conquered Mt Chobuje/Tsobojeon on 16th October 2023. This 6686-meter-high mountain is situated in the Rolwaling Valley. The Polish climbers made an alpine-style ascent from the northeast face of the peak, which is a challenging route. It is a noteworthy achievement by the duo, adding to the list of successful ascents of Chobuje. In 2015, MingmaG, the founder of Imagine Nepal, made the first-ever solo climb from the west face of the peak.

Congratulations to our fellow climbers, Mr Xiao Lei and Mr Li Dongfei, for their successful ascents of Ama Dablam, a technical climbing peak at 6812 meters above sea level.

We are excited to share that on October 14th, at 8:50 NPT, Mr Xiao Lei from China and our super Sherpa Dawa Tenjin Sherpa made it to the summit of Ama Dablam. And on October 16th, at 7:30 am NPT, Mr Li Dongfei and Phinjo Dorjee Sherpa also made it to the summit. We congratulate them both climbers.

𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐭: 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐥'𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐨 𝐎𝐲𝐮 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭!

The team successfully reached the summit at 12:30 p.m. NPT on 2 October 2023, just five days after crossing the Tibet border, as they were well acclimatized from their Manaslu expedition.

Mount Cho Oyu is the 6th highest mountain in the world, with an elevation of 8,201 meters above sea level, located on the Nepal-Tibet border 20 km west of Mount Everest in the Mahalangur range. Cho Oyu means “Turquoise Goddess” in Tibetan.

The Manaslu Expedition organized by Imagine Nepal achieved a 100% summit success rate. A team of 24 climbers from different countries reached the summit, including climbers from China, Pakistan, Finland, Canada, Nepal, the USA, and France. Notable achievements include a Chinese expedition led by Mingma G climbing without supplemental oxygen and Pemba Gyalje Sherpa setting a new speed record.

We are excited to share that the last team from Imagine Nepal has reached the summit of Manaslu today, on the 27th of September!

We want to give a special shoutout to all climbers who made it to the summit today:

- Rousen Jiao from China and Nima Nuru Sherpa at 5:32 am
- Liu Yingan from China, Dawa Tenzing Sherpa and Lakpa Tendi at 6:10 am
- Himal Khatri from Nepal and Bis Bahadur Gurung at 7:18 am
- Su Jiangfa from China and Angdu Sherpa at 7:15 am

Also, Pemba Gyalje Sherpa from the team has set a new speed record. He climbed to the top in an unbelievable time of just 12 hours, breaking the previous record of 13 hours.

New Speed Record on Manaslu

Pemba Gyalje Sherpa from Nepal made new speed record on Mt Manaslu. He started the climb from base camp at 7pm on 26th September and reached the summit at 7am on 27th September 2023. He made the ascent without the support of oxygen.
