It’s Conservation Week!
Christchurch Helicopters are great supporters of conservation here in NZ, with a special soft spot for the orange-fronted kākāriki, native to our big backyard. To show our support, we created ‘Flight Path’, a fundraising program that raises funds for the recovery efforts and breeding programs in conjunction with DOC. To celebrate and promote conservation this week, Christchurch Helicopters will be donating $25 from each flight towards the Flight Path program. If you can, us and the parakeets would love it if you could donate too (see the link in the comments) 🦜

We're really excited to get behind the Department of Conservation in their mission to save Canterbury's orange-fronted parakeet. We finally got to roll out the green machine from our hangar and take it for a spin. We've put together a short behind the scenes video of it all coming together.
