Even the IRD knows you're paying too much council tax! 💰💰💰
How many times have you heard council officials claim that rates are jumping because they've been kept artificially low for years. We all know this isn't exactly true, but mayors and councillors need some excuse for this year's latest crop of double-digit council tax rates hikes.

Now a study from the IRD shows New Zealand's rates are not just higher than the OECD average, they're nearly two times what citizens in other developed countries pay!

On average the rates burden in OECD countries – loosely meaning developed countries – is about 1.0 percent of GDP. In New Zealand, it's a whopping 1.9 percent of everything the country produces.

A few thoughts on BAPTISM.

God has laid it on my heart to share with you about Baptism.

Baptism is so important, in the life of a New Believer in Christ. Jesus said
"Unless a grain of wheat DIES it cannot produce fruit of RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM GOD."

For a new believer in Christ, baptism is a public declaration, testimony of and physical demonstration of their faith in Christ in New Life now and The future resurrection of the dead.
They are burying the old person, all of their chains and addictions to SIN - Their Selfish Independent Nature.
And washing away all of their SINS - Transgressions of the Ten Commandments -
1. Do not steal,
2. Do not lie,
3. Covet what other people have,
4. Do not use God's holy sacred name in vain or as a swear word,
5. Do not pray to, trust in or worship statues, idols or false gods.
6. Do not lust after or take a fancy to someone else's wife or husband.

1 John 1:9
"If we confess our sins,(Agree with God about them)
God us faithful and just-i-fied (As He suffered, was whipped beaten his blood poured out on the cross and died to pay the price for all of our sins on the cross)
He us able to forgive our sins (and in return give us His Righteousness.)
Cleansing us from all unrighteousness.
All sins confessed are washed away in Baptism.

THE DIVINE EXCHANGE
My burden and load of Sins, laid at the foot of the cross
for
Your Holy Spirit and Your Righteousness.

That is why
"If any person be in Christ, they are not the same anymore - BEHOLD!
A new life has begun.
1 Corthians 5:17

Biny a few tips on Baptism:

Have a time for them to tell about their journey to know Christ. Confess sins, their willingness to die to self rule and Confess their Faith in Christ and desire to have Him rule and reign and become king of their life.

It takes 3 minutes to drown a person, but for many people this maybe the first time they put their head under water.
Tell them not to be afraid.
They may like to hold their nose,
but just to relax and die.

Let the waters still, PAUSE FOR FIFTEEN SECONDS - (Shorten this if anyone is dead scared of being under water)
This pause is a revelation to the person getting baptised that they are dead under water - They will never forget this moment!

But also for those watching
"Oh He or She is gone.
He or She has been buried in water
What has happened to them, they died."

Then raise them up to New Life in Christ. Pray for them now clean, cleansed to recieve The Holy Spirit.
They may speak in tongues
(Some may not that's ok - Do all cast out demons, handle serpents or prophesy - No! )
Praise and thank God
Worship God with joy!

Encourage the new believer that anytime they feel convicted of having sinned to confess it, ask forgiveness and be cleansed, that they might
As Jesus said " GO and SIN NO MORE !"

In "The battle of the poultry"
It was obvious Hezbollah "chickened out" while firing rockets at Israel, when it's poorly guided rockets hit a poultry farm in Northern Israel. .
Feather's flew as the chickens exclaimed
"They're going to kill us all".

Israeli chickens, like brave Ukranians, have now armed themselves to fight back.
The Poultry War has just begun.
"You won't make KFC out of us"
one Rooster declared.

Are your children at a public school.
Be sure and tell the teacher, principal & school board of governors, even at "Christian Schools" if they teach your children lies like girls can become boys or boys can become girls any Gender Blender rubbish, that you will remove them from their school immediately.

Ask your kids individually when alone.
- Can a Bull, can he become a mummy cow
and give us milk to drink?

(Don't answer for them)

Can a Bull give birth to a calf?

Can a male Rooster ovulate and lay eggs like a hen does?

Can a Ewe mate another Ewe to get her pregnant at mating time, so five months and five days later she gives birth to a lamb? No!
It needs a RAM a male (He) sheep with testicals and a p***s.

Tell them a p***s is for urinating peeing , but also when you get older and get married, it's also for making babies.

It is best we as parents tell our children the truth so they evaluate all that they hear from teachers and friends based on what they have been told by their parents whom they trust more and question what is being said.
Farming provides a good way to do this.
As farm animals have no problem deciding and knowing what gender they are.
So Why should we?

The cyclone hit The Hawkes Bay - Napier & Hastings badly.
Four people tragically drowned. Washed out bridges, flooded homes, vineyards & orchards, cut power & water. Even Cell phone coverage which everyone relies on has gone down.

People are being evacuated from their homes this morning and two deaths have been confirmed in Hawke's Bay as Cyclone Gabrielle continues to lash...

We've enjoyed having Pauline, Lukas and Ben staying on the farm from Germany.
We have been pursuing some interesting jobs from Wood shed building from kitset 101 Carpendry class to Landscaping, lawn mowing to Logging, firewood land clearing, water blasting, windows and farmstay cleaning.

They have been a young, energetic, hardworking and diligent team that i've really enjoyed working with.

A day of Extreme Outdoor Adventures - Cooking hot dogs and Salmon Omlets around a large campfire. Climbing Mt Sunday where The Lord of The Rings was filmed and then for a scream sledging grassland on big empty plastic bags down the steep tussock slopes. Warning contact with rocks can cause injuries.

River boarding adventure trip in the 16 deg waters of the Upper Rangitata.
Which was followed by outdoor Italian style dining & Kiwi BBQ combination at The Jensen’s that ended in the early hours around 2am.
We all had such a wonderful day
Of fun, excitement, screams and exhilaration

We collected two british tourists hitchhiking and so took eleven people up Mount Sunday, slidibg down the far side and for a blast
We plunged into deep creek for a river board trip under the Swing bridge - It was so much fun!

We are open approaches from families of the unvaxed and victimized wanting somewhere in NZ to safely isolate with their children and enjoy holidays together.
Especially if you have children with special needs or vulnerabilities.
We are thinking for a week or two farm stay holiday, doing day trips in every direction from Geraldine, lots of great places to explore and plenty of places without people contact.
