Great news – the river track on the north bank between Otaihanga and Weggery Drive has been rebuilt and is open for use!

Please take it easy on the fresh surface – it needs about a week of sunny weather to dry and harden, so we need to be careful to protect it from damage in the meantime.

This means:
🚲 cyclists, please ride slowly over the new surface; save the zooms and wheelies for somewhere else
🐴 horse riders, please walk your horse, and don’t trot or canter over the surface.

Let's work together so this surface will be good for years to come!
