Awesome little 5.4x3 metre plunge pool - all ready for Christmas time 😎

When we said we could put a liner in almost anything… we meant it! This is a recent project we completed which was an old garage/carport that we managed to drop a liner in to 😊

We can put a liner in almost anything, including water tanks!
This is a recent re-line of an older pool that kept having reoccurring issues with leaking out of the tiles - it has definitely brought this space back to life!

Just touching base to let you all know that we're still slogging away during the various stages of Lockdown. We have many pools under construction and on target to get all up and ready for the Summer Holidays. There has been a slight delay in getting goods out of Auckland. We've been working on a few existing pool refurbishments lately...here's an example of one of them, still with landscaping to be done - the difference is amazing! In this one we designed and had built a special ramp, seat and handrail for a disabled client. Concrete, fibreglass or very old/flood damaged pools - we can make them beautiful again. Aaaaah, summer of 2021! We've been busy, busy building new swimming pools and have had an amazing amount of enquiry about refurbishment of existing concrete, fibreglass and putting heavy duty liners in all sorts of old pools!

Just some of the pools we've been working on this Summer so far...it's amazing the transformation once coping stones, water treatment, decking/concrete and landscaping are completed...will post more pic's when they're completed. It's not too late to get your pool in before Autumn, heat pumps are very popular this year - makes your valuable asset able to be used all year round!

No, this is not a Northpools Pool but a good example of a relatives concrete pool in Hastings which had some damage during the last Earthquake. Fortunately Cascade pools with Vinyl liners are flexible enough to withstand most ground-shaking events!

Just to advise anyone who may be about to build their pool/fence....
as of early last week, a new Law has been passed by Parliament to be added to the Building Act 2004.

Effectively, this means that the Fencing of Swimming Pool Act 1987 is now null and void and the new amendment to the Building Act means a swimming pool need no longer be "Fenced" on four sides, if a sufficient "Barrier" (such as a cliff edge, vanishing edge, Haha, building or structure) prevents access to the pool area by children of 5 years and under.

It will also be interesting to see how long the various Councils throughout New Zealand take to act on the new rules.

For the rest of us, we look forward to a decrease in frustration in
obtaining swimming pool Building Approvals, fingers crossed :)
