We love to travel, and when we do, especially when we are travelling by plane, we cannot contain our excitement. We love to tell the world that we are traveling by posting our plane tickets or boarding pass to our social media accounts such as Facebook or Instagram.
Sounds harmless right? But don't you know that posting such things in social media is certainly not advisable.
👉Do you notice that barcode on your boarding pass? The information printed there, it actually reveals more than you think.
Pansin nyo ung mga pinopost ko na ticket at boarding pass tinatakpan ko ang mga importanteng detalye dun lalo na ung Barcode at PNR at full name..bakit?
Dahil pwedeng maraming mangyari kapag hindi po tinakpan ung mga importanteng bagay na un;
1. Pwedeng palitan ng name ng mga masasamang nilalang ang ticket mo
2. Pwedeng ipa refund ng mga makakating kamay ang ticket mo
3. Pwedeng ipa travel fund ng mga scammers ang tickets nyo na di ninyo mamalayan
4. Pwedeng lagyan ng mga additional baggage etc.. At magkaroon ng malaking amount due ang ticket mo
5. Maaring hindi nyo na magamit ang ticket nyo pagdating sa airport
At marami pang ibang pwdng mangyari, kaya hanggat maari wag ipost ang ticket kapag hindi pa ito forfeited o hindi pa nagamit o na covered and importanting details sa ticket mo

Cancelled Flights Due to Typhoon Carina
As of July 24, 2024; 10:00 AM
Due to the impact of Typhoon Carina (International Name: Gaemi) on our operations, Cebu Pacific advises its passengers to expect cancellations and flight delays throughout the day.
The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4, where our Cebgo (DG) flights operate, is closed and inaccessible due to flooding. All arriving DG flights will be diverted to NAIA Terminal 3.
Passengers are advised to monitor the status of their flights via https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status and update their contact details via the Manage Booking portal to receive email notifications on flight reminders and updates.
Passengers affected by cancelled flights are also advised not to proceed to the airport for their safety and to avoid getting stuck on flooded roads.

Additional Cancelled Flights Following Technical Disruption

Cebu Pacific would like to inform its passengers that our technical teams are working diligently to restore full functionality to our systems and resume normal operations across our network, following the global service outage that is affecting airlines and businesses.
The IT outage affected a number of our systems, including those we use to check in, board and contact our customers.
Ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers remains our top priority, and we are doing everything possible to resolve the issue promptly.

📣TACLOBAN DZR AIRPORT TO RESUME NORMAL OPERATIONS AFTER RUNWAY UPGRADE

The Tacloban Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport will return to regular operations this week, following the early completion of the asphalt overlay project, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced.

This news was revealed by CAAP Area 8 Manager Danilo Abareta in a press conference organized by the Philippine Information Agency.

The runway upgrade, initially slated to be completed in two months, was finished ahead of schedule. In his explanation, Abareta said that they expedited the overlay works due to the upcoming fiesta celebration in Tacloban City. The hot weather also significantly contributed to the quick completion of the runway.

With the project now done, the airport will issue a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) informing airline companies that DZR airport will return to its previous operating hours, from the limited 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to a more accommodating schedule of 4:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. This longer operating schedule will boost the number of daily flights from 19 to potentially over 21.

To recall, CAAP 8 issued a NOTAM on April 24, 2024, enforcing a 12-hour operational window for DZR Airport—from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.—effective from May 2 to August 2 this year.
