St. Claus Day is celebrated on the December 6th in Poland, name-day of St. Nicolas. This is a day when St. Nicolas, in Polish: Sw. Mikolaj, is visiting all kids - some children in person during the evening, some secretly during night.
In some parts of Poland only St. Claus was bringing gifts on the 6th of December. Gifts were not given under Christmas tree during Christmas!

The beautiful city of Krakow is usually draped in snow during the festive season, making Krakow Christmas Market an even prettier sight for visitors.
The Rynek, which is the huge market square in the old town’s centre, provides the setting for the Christmas Market and is largely filled with wooden stalls offering a variety of gifts. The Rynek is dominated by the ancient majestic Cloth Hall, which makes for a splendid backdrop for visitors shopping at the Christmas Market.
From mouth watering delicacies to traditional items such as woollen clothes and locally-crafted jewellery, your are sure to find your perfect Christmas gifts.
Christmas market usually starts towards the end of November, and lasts until 26th December, but occasionally it is extended to early January.
