💡May and the beginning of June were extremely busy for us, as we successfully accomplished 7 incentive trips, for over 300 people, in 3 destinations: , and .

✅The selection of activities we offered was highly diverse, ranging from culinary walking tours with tastings of local products, to bicycle tours, canoeing in the city center and vintage car rides. Participants also enjoyed unique experiences such as an axe-throwing competition, an underground mining trip in the Wieliczka salt mine, including team-building activities and a perfume workshop in which they created their individual scents.

🏆We hosted also two gala dinners featuring an awards ceremony and provided entertainment including a jazz band concert, a piano recital showcasing Chopin's music, a multimedia fountain show and a dance party with a DJ.

⌛️It was quite an intense time, but we are extremely happy the goals were achieved, and our clients were delighted with the services and experiences we provided.

🇵🇱 remains very often overlooked as a destination, despite its significant potential for MICE events and still competitive value for money.

👍We had the great pleasure to attend the fam trip to Wrocław organized for Destination Management Companies from the 15th to the 17th of April.

📍Hosted by the , this three-day program offered us an immersive experience into the vibrant MICE scene of Wrocław.

💡Throughout the trip, we had the opportunity to explore various facets of Wrocław's MICE offer for event planners and incentive organizers. From visiting hotels and conference facilities to discovering unique event venues, excellent restaurants and party locations the fam trip provided us with valuable insights into the city's potential for hosting successful events of all scales.

💡Did you know that the most beautiful restaurant in the world is located in Wroclaw?

🍽️The restaurant La Maddalena in Wroclaw has been named lately the most beautiful restaurant in the world in the international Muse Design Award competition in New York!

📍The award was given "for style, elegance and the use of very fine materials in the interiors" . In the final competition, it competed against restaurants from: Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, the Arab Emirates and Canada. It received a gold statuette for interiors "in which harmony and beauty are felt".

⚠️The attention was drawn to the two round feast tables with a revolving stone plate in the centre made of snowy, fashionable marble, the beautiful oak floor and the extraordinary care for every detail of the decoration. They were also impressed by the design of the VIP room with a separate entrance and the restaurant's beautiful terrace suspended directly over the Oder River overlooking the University of Wrocław building and the possibility of mooring a boat next to the restaurant itself.

👨‍👩‍👦‍👦The restaurant accommodates 100 guests and the additional 80 people can be seated at one long table on the terrace with an impressive view on the Odra River and Wroclaw University.

👏Our congratulations on this exceptional award, all the more so as the restaurant is permanently featured in the programs we offer to our clients planning to organise their event in Wrocław!

📍Yesterday we attended the Event Industry Forum, which was the first major branch fair of its kind this year.

💡In addition to interesting panel discussions and presentations on two stages, we had the opportunity to explore the latest trends and make new business contacts.

🦉With more than 2,000 attendees and 150 exhibitors, the event provided also an excellent platform to gain new knowledge and current practices in the event industry.

🔗On 14.-16.12, we participated in study & Christmas🎄trip to Tarnów at the invitation of the local tourism organization.

💡Tarnów is the second most populated city in Lesser Poland, which, probably only because of its proximity to Krakow, is still underestimated und undercovered.

📍It is known as Poland's "Pole of Warmth," while fewer people know that in southeastern Poland only Krakow has more historical monuments. You'll find, among others, a monumental cathedral with an archdiocesan museum that houses extremely valuable exhibits dating back to the 14th century and a market square with a beautiful town hall, considered a pearl of the Polish Renaissance.

📌There are more than a dozen sightseeing trails in the city, including the Jewish trail, the route of the Polish and Hungarian national hero Jozef Bem or Tarnow murals. Worth a visit is also the science and technology center "Discovery Passage" with a planetarium and several modern equipped laboratories or unique ethnographic museum dedicated to the culture and life of Gypsies.

☕️🍷You can also enjoy a cup of coffee in a historic tram-café or try your skills as a driver on one of the two go-karting circuits. While in Tarnow, one should not forget about visiting local vineyards, where, in addition to delicious wine, you can taste local cheese or meat products.

One of the most important exhibition for the meetings industry ended a week ago. This year's edition of in Barcelona, comparing to the previous two years, was especially well attended.

We achieved record numbers of visitors this year, as we managed to hold almost 50 business meetings over the three days at the Polish national stand. This good result was mainly due to the active usage of the online platform already before the fair and the thorough research, which certainly contributed greatly to the number and quality of the meetings held.

Approximately 80% of all our visitors, were new potential business partners, i.e. companies and B2B agencies, who are interested in organising their events in Poland in the near future, such as incentive travel, conferences or product launches.

According to the information provided by our clients, Western Europe Western Europe is dealing now with an overflow of incentives, corporate meetings, and events - this creates a lack of capacity in many areas like hotels, meeting rooms, special venues, etc.. This also results in a huge price increase, which already reaches its absolute peak in many European capitals.

We see this as a particular opportunity for Poland as a destination which, in the next two years, will certainly be chosen more often by foreign planners to organise events and meetings here. The value for money in our country compared to other destinations is still very favourable and, moreover, the budgets of many clients are increasingly unable to bear the Western European "MICE-price".

🥐As every year, Poznań Convention Bureau and Poznan.travel did not forget and sent us St.Martin’s croissants, which are eaten traditionally on November 11th. As always there were very delicious! Thank you👍👍👍!

🥐This regional product with a Protected Geographical Indication of the European Union is only available from designated and certified producers and can be bought all year around in selected pastry shops.

💡What is a keel, where is the stern and bow rudder? What shape should the boat be so that it does not sink and how do you steer it?

🛎️The answers to these questions were answered during a unique incentive programme we organised near Krakow for our client from consulting industry at the beginning of October.

🚣🏻‍♀️A group of 100 people was divided up into 10-person teams and the participants were given a plan, instructions and properly prepared materials and tools to perform the task. The activity took the form of a competition: when assessing the crafted boats, boatbuilders took into account diligence, creativity and also the best time in a race.

🎨In addition to colouring and branding the boats, it was also important that they do not sink after launching. All was supervised by an experienced boatbuilder, who gave ongoing advice and hints.

🏆The biggest advantage of the event was getting a tangible result of the team work together. After a lot of hard effort with hammer, chisel and heel in hand, the boatbuilding adepts officially baptised their boats, launched them and tested their manoeuvrability on the water.

💪The event was extremely fun, but it also showed the determination of the participants to do their best.

🚣🏻‍♀️The boat building challenge can be organised anywhere in Poland for a group of max. 150 pax.

📍Last week we attended the second edition of international conference , which was organised thanks tocooperation between Polish Conference & Congress Association and the Polish Tourist Organisation.

📌The conference was dedicated to inbound tourism and MICE to Poland and was attended by representatives of our industry as well as hosted buyers from all over the world.

💡This year, the event took place in Cracow at the recently opened 5*Stradom House, Autograph Collection and consisted of 3 themed discussion panels, during which, the panellists presented the attractions, traditions and culinary delights of the Malopolska region, as well as recent trends and innovative ways of collaboration.

🌿Particularly noteworthy was the discussion on sustainable event organisation, during which guests had the opportunity to learn about green practices and developments of the sustainable MICE industry in Poland.

🧍‍♀️🧍🏻🧍‍♂️An interesting panel was the interactive session on storytelling, where we were able to hear many interesting stories from the attendees about how their adventure in the meetings industry began.

🛎️After the conference, there was the opportunity to visit the Krakow Glassworks followed by dinner at the Zinar Castle Tower in Przegorzaly near Krakow.

🏆EuroSkills is the largest education and job skills competition in Europe, which takes place every two years. The 8th edition of EuroSkills took place in early September in Gdansk and we were pleased to organise the accompanying programme for the Austrian team🇦🇹

🐟They enjoyed a culinary walk, which included highlights within the Old Town of Gdansk and tastings of local craft beer, smoked fish, the famous Goldwasser and doughnuts from a family-owned doughnut bakery that has been operating since 1922.

🚣‍♂️The group also discovered the post-shipyard area and explored the city from the water by kayaking along the Motława River around Granary Island.

🍻Guests were able to try local specialities and sip regional beef during a festive dinner at one of the local restaurant breweries

☀️The weather was truly summery, the guests delighted and our client happy - what more could you need to be satisfied with a completed project?

📌Last week we participated in a study tour for SITE Poland members to Świętokrzyskie region organized by Poland Convention Bureau POT and Świętokrzyskie Convention Bureau as part of the Destination Poland project. The aim of the trip was to familiarise the participants with the MICE potential of the region.

📌The programme was filled with attractions of all kinds like exploring the royal city of Sandomierz, tasting of local products, visit to vineyards, extreme offroad along Vistula River, vintage boat cruise, striped flint jewellery workshop and storytelling about Slavic traditions and the secrets of the magic of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains presented to us in a fun and humorous way by a group of local artists.

📌We visited Palace of Family Popiel in Kurozwęki with brewery and buffalo farm as well as city of Kielce with the Kadzielnia nature reserve, small town of Chęciny with its castle ruins at dusk and open-air museum in Tokarnia. While inspecting the region, the participants explored also the limestone karst cave Raj (Paradise), handcrafted natural body scrubs and wove floral garlands. The programme was highlighted by a premiere visit to the newly opened multimedial „Park of Legends“, where we could try, what's is like to fly on a broomstick. 📌As always, the activity could not to be missed - this time we planted a floodplain forest by the Koprzywianka river.

SWIETOKRZYSKIE is certainly a region with a great MICE potential, which we are going to exploit in creating unique incentive programs for our customers! 🇵🇱

🔗Yesterday we celebrated Global Meetings Industry Day , which this year was held under the motto "Meetings Matter".
