There are moments when you feel like they are the worst time of your life, as if the world gets surrounded by darkness that you never wanted to be in.
There are days like that when you do not want to get out of bed, you do not want to get out of the house, when you just want to be left alone.
The only hope that you are holding on to is that you know that one of these days, things would be better.
Better days are coming indeed, and once they do, you will realize that everything that happened to you happened due to a reason.
Happy New Year ❤️

Happy Nowrouz, Happy New Year
Peace , Love & Health ❤️
Nowruz is the Persian, or Iranian, spring celebration of the New Year. It’s the most important festival of the year in Iran, and it's a public holiday there and in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Albania and other countries in South and Central Asia. It’s a happy occasion, and there may be as many as 13 days’ holiday from school!
When is it?
Nowruz begins at the exact day, hour and minute of the spring equinox, when night and day are of equal length. This is usually on 21 March. It’s the day when winter changes into spring, and it feels like a new beginning.
Spring cleaning
People prepare for Nowruz by cleaning the whole house, and everyone in the family helps out. Carpets, windows and curtains are cleaned. Anything broken is repaired or replaced. Silverware is polished. The house is decorated with flowers. By doing this spring cleaning, people wash away the bad things from the previous year and prepare for better things to come in the new year. They also put on brand new clothes to symbolise a fresh start.
Fire jumping
In the evening of the last Wednesday before Nowruz, bonfires are lit and people jump over the flames. The flames burn away sickness and bad luck.

Happy Yalda ❤️
These days, Christian countries around the world are getting ready for Christmas. All streets, stores and houses are decorated with lights for this festive season. You hear Christmas songs everywhere and some people even wear Christmas jumpers. For Iranians, all around the world, it’s different, because they are getting ready for one of their most important nights of the year: Yalda night or Shab e Chelleh. The majority of Iranians don’t celebrate Christmas, of course we do have Armenian communities and other Christian communities who do celebrate Christmas in Iran. I think Yalda is much more highlighted than Christmas in the streets of Iran. Let me explain to you what Yalda night is.
What is Yalda night?
Yalda means birth. Yalda night is a beautiful ancient Iranian celebration. Iranians are celebrating the longest and darkest night of the year or winter solstice. This night is on 20 to 21 December according to the Georgian calendar. I should add here that we in Iran use a different calendar, the Iranian calendar. According to this calender, Yalda night is the last evening of the autumn day or “the night opening the initial forty-day period of the three-month winter”.
Let me go back to the reasons why we celebrate Yalda night
This celebration is coming from the time when a majority of Persians were followers of Zoroastrianism prior to the advent of Islam. Ancient Persians believed that evil forces were dominant on the longest night of the year and that the next day belonged to the Lord of Wisdom, Ahura Mazda.
This night has been used in many Iranian poems to describe a dark night in which one gets separated from a loved one, creating loneliness and waiting. Other countries such as Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan are also celebrating this night.
How does Iranian celebrate Yalda night?
In the Zoroastrian era, people were advised to stay awake for most of the night, to prevent any bad luck from happening. People had t

In Love With Kandovan, Tabriz ❤️
Kandovan is an extraordinary ancient village in the province of East Azarbaijan, near the city of Tabriz, Iran. With its at least 800 years existence, this remarkable place is inhabited by 670 people and offers scenic beauty for its travelers.
With homes carved inside rocks, some of them 700 years old, the Kandovan village is said to have been partially formed by volcanic remains from a strong Mount Sahand eruptions hundreds of years ago.
As you will see in the small movie above, this is a place where houses are not built on a mountain, but within a mountain. Another interesting aspect is the fact that the rock acts as an energy efficient material, keeping the house cool during summer and warm during winter. This is why most of the inhabitants here do not use heaters or air conditioning systems.
The intriguing architecture of this village seems to defy all rules and travelers are usually fascinated by its incredible slopes and irreverent paths. Recently a hotel was built, inspired by and connected to the “style” of the village. The “Rocky Hotel” features beautiful cave interiors with very comfortable living spaces. What we found interesting is that it takes ten months for four people to dig a room. Be sure to check out the video to see how these rooms look.

Shahsavan tribes wedding in Northwest of Iran ❤️
Summary: Over hundred of thousand Azari speaking Shahsavan tribespeople whose ancestors supported Shah Abbas I, the Safavid king, are living in Ardabil and Meshgin-Shahr regions in northeastern Iran. The tribe is zealous to observe its rites and customs and some of them still lead a migratory life like a hundred years ago.
History of Shahsavan Tribe
More than hundred of thousand of Shahsavan tribesmen and tribeswomen, divided into several branches, are living in northeastern Province of Ardabil. The majority of these people are either living in villages or the townships surrounding provincial capital city of Ardabil, but they continue to follow their past nomadic customs. Over 5,000 Shahsavan tribespeople still lead a migratory or semimigratory life in Ardabil Province.
Shahsavans speak Azari Turkish and believe in Shia faith. The book called "Bostan ul-Siahe (The Garden of Travel)" says: "Shahsavan is a tribe which flourished during the time of Shah Abbas. The reason for their prominence is that a group of ungrateful Qezelbash (red clothed) fighters deserted Shah Abbas and revolted. The king said: `Shahsavan, Galseen' i.e. whoever loves the king come and join me. Thus, each tribe that defeated the rebel Qezelbashes were called Shahsavans or lovers of the king by Shah Abbas.
Shahsavans follow their genuine and ancient traditional custom and like every other tribe in the country they were not immune from dangers and calamities at different periods of their life.
Various accounts have been given about the history of emergence of Shahsavans and their relations with other tribes and dynasties.
At the end of the 16th century A.D. when many Sunni and Shia tribes escaped the tyrannical rule of Ottoman Empire and sough refuge in Iran, also Younsavan, a tribal leader, visited Shah Abbas and sought permission to move his tribe into Iran. Shah Abbas nam

Beautiful Iran
Iran, also called Persia, and officially the Islamic Republic of Iran, is a country in Western Asia. With 82 million inhabitants,Iran is the world's 18th most populous country. Its territory spans 1,648,195 km2 (636,372 sq mi), making it the second largest country in the Middle East and the 17th largest in the world. Iran is bordered to the northwest by Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, to the north by the Caspian Sea, to the northeast by Turkmenistan, to the east by Afghanistan and Pakistan, to the south by the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, and to the west by Turkey and Iraq. Its central location in Eurasia and Western Asia, and its proximity to the Strait of Hormuz, give it geostrategic importance.Tehran is the capital, largest city, and leading economic and cultural center.
_____________________________________
Geographically, Iran is located in West Asia and borders the Caspian Sea, Persian Gulf, and Gulf of Oman. Its mountains have helped to shape both the political and the economic history of the country for several centuries. The mountains enclose several broad basins, on which major agricultural and urban settlements are located. Until the 20th century, when major highways and railroads were constructed through the mountains to connect the population centers, these basins tended to be relatively isolated from one another.

Typically, one major town dominated each basin, and there were complex economic relationships between the town and the hundreds of villages that surrounded it. In the higher elevations of the mountains rimming the basins, tribally organized groups practiced transhumance, moving with their herds of sheep and goats between traditionally established summer and winter pastures. There are no major river systems in the country, and historically transportation was by means of caravans that followed routes traversing gaps and passes in the mountains. Th

Azeri Dance
There are a number of Azerbaijani dances (Azerbaijani: Azərbaycan Rəqsləri) used by the Azerbaijani people of Azerbaijan and Iranian Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan's national dance shows the characteristics of the Azerbaijani nation. These dances differ from other dances with its quick temp. And this talks about nation's quickness. The national clothes of Azerbaijan are well preserved within the national dances.

In love with Tabriz grand bazaar ❤️
Tabriz has been a place of cultural exchange since antiquity. Its historic bazaar complex is one of the most important commercial centres on the Silk Road. A bazaar has existed on the same site since the early periods of Iranian urbanism following Islam. The bazaar was mentioned by the Venetian traveler Marco Polo, who claimed to have passed through it while journeying on the Silk Road.
Located in the center of the city of Tabriz, Iran, the structure consists of several sub-bazaars, such as Amir Bazaar (for gold and jewelry), Mozzafarieh (a carpet bazaar, sorted by knot size and type), shoe bazaar, and many other ones for various goods such as household items. Tabriz and its bazaar were at their most prosperous in the 16th century, when the town became the capital city of the Safavid kingdom. The city lost its status as a capital in the 17th century, but its bazaar has remained important as a commercial and economic center.Although numerous modern shops and malls have been established nowadays, Tabriz Bazaar has remained the economic heart of both the city and northwestern Iran.
Tabriz Bazaar has also been a place of political significance, and one can point out its importance in the Iranian Constitutional Revolution in the last century and Islamic Revolution in the contemporary time.
The bazaar was inscribed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in July 2010.

Chahkooh Canyon ❤️
In the Northwestern part of Qeshm Island, Chahkooh Canyon (Mountain of Wells) is located 15km away from Tabl Village. The Chahkooh Canyon is known as The Great Canyon of The Middle-East and is inscribed as a UNESCO Global Geopark site. This Geosite is an exceptional example of erosion through rainstorm water.
Since the floor of the canyon is the place where rainwater flows in, the locals have digged wells in it to make use of the water. Therefore, the name ‘Chahkooh’ which literally means “mount well” has accordingly been chosen for it.This mysterious valley is a one of a kind phenomenon formed by sea waves, wind and rain. The passway of this Canyon starts out wide but becomes more narrow as you walk in, representing a creative artist’s demonstration.
Chahkooh is the result of erosion from rainwater on sedimentary stone. Heavy rainstorms (that are also rare) quickly flush water through geological structures. Erosion however has been a secondary factor in forming this beautiful valley. It has primarily been affected by the Salt Dome and related anticline (a ridge or fold of stratified rock). While under pressure, these arch-like structures may break in areas that are weaker, forming grooves on the walls. Chahkooh has been initially formed by these geological phenomena, and secondarily been washed away by erosion. Vertical to the main valley axis, there is a second valley, which has also been formed through tectonic pressures. It actually makes two canyons plumbed on each other vertically.
The rounded edges and sharp corners create a harmony which cannot be found anywhere else. Wells of fresh water and cool wind make this canyon a relaxing place, especially at night where you can camp and enjoy gazing the stars all night. To get to the canyon, you’ll have to hike in a not so special route, but when you get there the striking natural beauty will be the reward of your long hike.
