Rhapsody of the Sea, a cruise liner carrying 1,500 visitors from around the world, will dock in Port-of-Spain on Carnival Friday. All of its passengers will be ready to participate fully in T&T’s Carnival activities.

Mack said it’s a novel project and first of its kind—a floatel concept—with an initiative to increase arrivals to Trinidad and double limited hotel occupancy.

“It’s not just an all-inclusive hotel but also it is an all-inclusive experience, where there are add-ons like J’Ouvert, costumes, tickets to fetes etcetera,” he said.

#1 When will EPIC be boarding?

EPIC will boarding in Barbados on Feb 16th between 11:30am-5:30pm at the Barbados seaport.

#2 When is EPIC leaving Trinidad to return to Barbados?

Boarding for leaving Trinidad to return to Barbados is on February 21st. All guests must on board the cruise no later than 9pm.

#3 When is EPIC disembarkation?

The disembarkation of all guests once docked in BGI on the 22nd is 12pm/noon.

#4 How will people get their costumes?

All costumes ordered through EPIC will be delivered and distributed onboard the ship.

#5 What to wear for Carnival Monday?

People think they either need something specific or they think we are offering it, but you can wear anything you’d like!

#6 How to get tickets to the carnival fetes/events?

All fete tickets offered through EPIC will be issued onboard the ship.

#7 Can I participate if I bring my own costume?

Carnival Monday and Tuesday requires that, first, each participant registers with a Band , as each Band has a specific costume that aligns with their specific Band sections. We suggest that you do a search for any Bands that may have costumes available at this point in time.

#8 Can I Bring Visitors on Board?

Many are asking about visitors coming on board - however Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines have strict legal policies for guests boarding and disembarking the ship. Thus, unfortunately, no visitors are allowed.
