14 DAYS KENYA& TANZANIA MIGRATION SAFARI
Day 1: Nairobi- Amboseli National Park
Depart from your hotel in Nairobi at 0800hrs with picnic lunch to Amboseli national park, proceed with the game drive in the park in the evening drive to Kibo safari lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Have breakfast and proceed for a full day of game viewing inside the Park. Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which is Africa's highest mountain. The snows of the mountain form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most spectacular displays of wildlife. The park used to be known for its greener vegetation which was later damaged by the huge population of huge elephants which trampled on it till it was no more. After a full day of action-filled game-viewing, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha National Park
After breakfast, leave Amboseli and drive to Lake Naivasha (lunch will be served en route). You will arrive at Naivasha in the afternoon, check in at the hotel then go on a safari drive in Hell’s Gate National Park (here you can indulge in various activities like cycling amongst the wild animals, boat riding, swimming, and bird-watching). Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Resort.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Lake Bogoria
After breakfast, leave Lake Naivasha (have lunch en route) to Lake Bogoria. This is a saline, alkaline lake that lies in a volcanic in a half-graben basin south of Kenya. The lake had been known in the past as the jewel of Rift Valley, the most beautiful view in Africa which is set in the acacia surroundings of the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Here you’ll have the chance to see the lesser flamingoes which are of the larger population in this lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Resort.
Day 5: Lake Bogoria to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast set out to Lake Nakuru National park, thereafter proceed for morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park (known for its big five excluding the Elephants). A packed lunch is served in the park. It’s the only park where you will see both the greater and lesser flamingoes hence known as the bird’s sanctuary. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp.
Day 6: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, head to Masai mara game reserve, arriving in time for lunch at Enchoro Wildlife Camp. Subsequently, you will go on an afternoon game viewing to behold the majesty of this unique park. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight at Mara Leisure Tented Camp.
Day 7: Masai mara National Reserve
After waking up, have breakfast then drive inside the park with your Tour Guide for a day exploring the vast plains of the Mara. You will spot many beautiful animals and birds, not to mention the delightful panorama of the area. At the Mara River, you will have your lunch, then proceed with the safari drive (witness the great migration)In the evening, return to the camp for dinner and overnight at Mara Leisure Tented Camp.
Day 8: Maasai Mara to Lake Victoria
After breakfast, leave the camp for a drive to the Tanzanian border (Isebania) for immigration formalities. Continue to Musoma at the shore of Lake Victoria to check in at our accommodation followed by lunch. You’ll spend the afternoon enjoying the activities within Lake Victoria like boat riding, fishing and visiting the renowned islands of Lake Victoria. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight Mbalageti Tented Camp.
Day 9: Lake Victoria to Serengeti
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, leave for the Hemingway Serengeti plains enjoying an afternoon safari drive on arrival. There will be a quick stop for packed lunch to be served then proceed with the safari drive. Dinner and overnight at Sound of Silence Camp.
Day 10: Serengeti National park
Morning and afternoon safari drive in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge or tented camp in the mid-afternoon. In the central plains there are carnivores like, leopards, hyenas and cheetahs. This park is the scene of the annual migration of the wildebeest and zebras, which occurs between Serengeti and Kenya’s all-too-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Eagles, Flamingoes, duck, geese, and vultures are among the birds that can be spotted in the park. Dinner and overnight at Sound of Silence Camp.
Day 11: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Leave the camp after breakfast for a further morning game drive in Serengeti National park, then depart for Ngorongoro crater. On arrival, descend 2000 ft (670m) into the crater floor for a full afternoon crater tour with a break for lunch at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. Black manned lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants and other grazing animals abound. Return to Ngorongoro wildlife lodge or camp for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
Day 12: Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara
After breakfast leave Ngorongoro Crater for a drive to Lake Manyara National Park, then have early lunch on arrival. Afterwards go on an extensive afternoon safari drive to see the many animals that inhabit this unique park. Dinner and overnight Kilimamoja Lodge.
Day 13: Lake Manyara to Tarangire
Following breakfast, you will set out to Tarangire National park arriving in time for lunch. Then, afternoon will be spent game viewing in the park. Dinner and overnight Tarangire safari lodge.
Day 14: Tarangire-Arusha-Nairobi
After the early morning breakfast proceeds for your last day's safari, drive to Arusha coffee lodge for lunch and proceed driving to Nairobi via Namanga border, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home or at your own arrangements.
