The sanctuary offers a secure place where the Uganda White Rhino population can be expanded by breeding, protected from human and non-human predators and gradually re-introduced into Uganda's National Parks.

Gorilla Baby Boom in Bwindi - Fifth new baby in just 6 weeks! The Rushegura gorilla family welcomes another bouncing cute baby gorilla from Adult female Ruterana increasing the family membership to 18. The birth takes the tally of new births in the forest to 5 in just six weeks! The new born marks Ruterana's third offspring. Ruterana was born Jan, 1st, 2002 making her 18 years of age. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🎉🎉🎉
