You will love Africa!

As we drive west of Entebbe to Mabamba swamp which is the most convenient place to see the elusive shoebill. We meet with our site representative who takes us through the briefing and later to a few minutes in a small canoe to the papyrus3 reeds that opens up into a flat grassy wetland where a number of shoebills can regularly be seen.

This elusive bird is easily spotted in the morning where you may have a chance to take a great epic photo while it stalks its prey of mud fish or frogs etc. Enjoy the hunting tricks as they stand absolutely still for long awaiting the movement of their prey and suddenly strike with a marvelous speed.

One can extend a canoe tour across lake victoria for more opportunities to see more birds and fishing villages.
