This four days' Uganda gorilla trekking safari will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, gorilla forest which is well known for gorilla trekking in Uganda. Drive through the winding rural areas into the home of endangered mountain gorillas. Your safari begins from Kampala urban settings into the village setting of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, this tropical rainforest is a habitat for a variety of primate species.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER
Meet and greet the Go Explore Safaris representative who will then transfer you to your hotel for an overnight.

DAY 2: KAMPALA- BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
After your morning breakfast, meet and greet your guide at the hotel, thereafter, start a panoramic ride southwest of Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. You will have a stopover at the Equator for photographs. Thereafter proceed, passing through the savannah grassland with the long-horned Ankole cows grazing along the road.
Stop over for lunch at Mbarara town and thereafter descend to the beautiful Kigezi hills commonly known as the "Switzerland of Africa". Arrival at Haven Lodge later in the evening for dinner. Have enough rest as you prepare for an adventurous Gorilla Tracking activity the next day.
From this forest, you will track gorillas while from the other trails you can go for bird watching, nature walk characterized by a number of birds including blue turaco, black casques hornbills, black and white hornbills, woodland kingfishers, flycatchers.

DAY 3: GORILLA TRACKING
Start the day with an early served breakfast as you prepare yourself for an encounter with the rare mountain gorilla. For most people, this is the absolute highlight of their tour in Uganda. Drive to the starting point of the gorilla tracking where you will receive a briefing about what will transpire during the tracking.
Enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The time you spend searching for the gorilla can be as short as four hours or as long as the eight hours but you can only be allowed to spend a maximum of one hour with the endangered species. This is the time to take photos and ask the guide any questions about the seemingly tedious yet rewarding experience.

DAY 4: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK TO KAMPALA AND TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
After your breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kampala. En route to Kampala, expect to take pleasure in a ride through the thrilling Kigezi hills with beautiful scenery from the "Switzerland of Africa” with numerous activities carried out by the local communities on the uplands. You will have a stopover for lunch before you proceed to Kampala. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport (EBB) for your international flight.
NOTES
Gorilla tracking is subject to availability of permits, which are limited to eight per gorilla family per day. Gorilla permits cannot be held / secured / booked with the Uganda Wildlife Authority in advance of payment - they are only secured once physically paid for. GoExplore Safaris can check availability of permits but they cannot hold them. GoExplore Safaris will invoice for the permits, and as soon as the funds clear in their account, GoExplore Safaris will go ahead and purchase. Gorilla permits are always 100% non-transferable and non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy
A reservation requires a deposit of 40% of the total price.
The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 45 days before the arrival date.
The rest of the payment should be paid on departure.
