You think nine months is a long time for a pregnancy? As an elephant, having a baby is a significant commitment. Elephants have a longer pregnancy than any other mammal, almost 22 months. At birth, elephants already weigh some 200 pounds and stand about three feet tall.

While we say gorilla trekking is for the physically fit people only, what then happens when someone is elderly or any other person with reduced mobility? Here is how it goes; use of sedan chairs.

Elderly or disabled visitors to Bwindi Impenetrable forest can be carried around in bamboo stretchers lifted by four physically people called porters. For a small fee (between $300 to $500), you can book a sedan chair for your comfortable in Uganda the home of mountain gorillas.
