After 13 years, today I celebrate my very last day of Teen Center. What a great experience to meet and know so many amazing kids over the years, many of whom have become close friends. I'm proud to have been part of this program and hope that my fond memories are shared by the others who were with me along the way. Now that i'll be stress free, maybe my hair will revert back to its original darker state. Love to all you guys!

This Friday at the Teen Center we are hosting a MOVIE NIGHT for kids 8-12 years old. We will provide dinner, popcorn, and drinks. This event is only $10.00 and runs from 6-10pm.

From 6-10pm this Friday, December 14, Teen Center offers a fun evening of KARAOKE and MOVIES! Rock out to your favorite songs; classics, new hits, and even some holiday music! After you’ve sung your heart out, relax to a movie or two with some popcorn. Towards the end of the night you can even CREATE YOUR OWN ice cream sundae! Today Zi held session 3 of her Arts&Crafts class. The lesson this week is on perspective and taught through water-colors....I am looking forward to seeing the end result.

Zi the cupcake lady can do more than just bake! Today in her cooking 101 class Zi will be teaching the student the fine art of making mouth watering chicken tortilla soup.

Due to popular demand we are happy to announce the Pam Tellew of "Homeschooler's Hub" and the ever so popular workshop class " Altered! The art of making something from something else" has agreed to grace us with her presence every Monday starting November 5,2012. Pam will be teaching her "Altered!" class. This wonderful class for both boys and girls encourages creativity, improves eye hand coordination, and provides a wonderful sense of personal accomplishment.

Our second modification to the printed activity schedule is also a very exciting one for us! Zi the cupcake lady is a woman of many talents and she has agreed to teach an arts and crafts class every Thursday, starting November 1, 2012. Zi will teach beading, scrap-booking, mosaic making,and much more.

These classes are open to youth age 10-15.
