Looking for a fun activity while staying at Smith Lake? Look no further than the new Wild Water park in Cullman, which is a 40 minute drive from our home.

Our kids had an absolute blast at this beautiful newly expanded water park and are already asking to go back! There was plenty to do for all of their ages (and varying comfort levels with slides 🤣)

Our booking calendar will open to the public for Summer 2022 in just a few days- and it books quick! Like with last year, we are allowing guests who’ve stayed with us before to pre-book dates for summer 2023 directly with us to secure your spot and avoid the VRBO and Airbnb fees 😍 It’s our way of saying thanks, and making sure some of our fav folks get a chance to visit with us again. 🥰

We’ve already had several of you reach out to secure your dates for next summer, so as a heads up- we currently only have TEN DAYS available in June 2023. July 2023 is fully booked 😳. Further availability may open up later this fall as guests’ plans change, but for now, that’s what we’ve got.

Say hello to the newest addition here at Emerald Cove! 😊 Courtesy of my handyman husband, the girls (and our guests!) have access to this lovely little treehouse, complete with flowers and mailbox. The girls have been busy writing “letters” to each other and leaving them in the “mail” at their house- we love seeing their imagination at work!

We were in LOVE with our fall cheese box from that we picked up for Spook the Lake this year. Bonus: we ordered a kid friendly box as well so they would leave our treats alone 😂🥰 The girls (including the littlest) ate every last bite!

The Emerald Cove and crews teamed up for a great first Spook the Lake experience this weekend! We are so grateful for our amazing lake neighbors who gave our aquatic themed kiddos such a magical time with their decorations and Halloween treats. We ❤️ Smith Lake!
