Diabetes
People have been told by their doctors that if it’s Type 1, there is no chance of ever reversing back to normal. This may be the case if the most important nutrition elements have not been addressed and if infections of the pancreas have not been resolved. Infections common in the pancreas include liver flukes, nano-bacteria and other forms of parasites. Aloe Ferox is my first choice of broad-spectrum anti-infective for this application.
Clinical evidence supports the fact that diabetes is a diet related disorder. People consuming a plant-based diet have significantly lower incidence of becoming diabetic. Scientific Study References provided.
Type 1 Diabetes is often caused by infants being fed cow’s milk prior to the age of 3 months. Antibiotics are almost always introduced to these milk-drinking children due the infections that accompany ingestion of milk, regardless of the milk being “organic”. Milk plus Antiobiotics is an assault on the pancreas and can prevent (to varying degrees) the islets of Langerhans ability to produce insulin. Most children who start out with infant formula, milk and antiobiotics, tend to stay on antibiotics for protracted periods of time. These same children are fed “chicken”, cooked oil, cow meat, turkey and other toxic substances considered “food”. Even if parents do not expose their children to antibiotics intentionally, they are getting plenty in their milk, meat, chicken and turkey.
Type 2 Diabetes is commonly thought of as something people get when they eat too much sugar. Diabetes is a consequence of refined sugar plus ingestion of meat and cooked oil. Foods cooked in oil coat the insulin and the sugar molecules, preventing normal glycogen metabolism. Bad fats are in cooked meat, not only cooked oil as in “fries”.
I recommend elimination of any “pourable” oil while seriously considering reversing diabetes, Type 1 or Type 2. Essential Fatty Acids to be derived from whole-foods such as whole coconut meat, whole olives, avocado, raw nuts and raw seeds. NO peanuts. Raw and roasted peanuts and raw/roasted peanut butter most likely is contaminated with aflotoxin, a known carcinogen. Aflotoxin develops inside the mold of most peanuts, has no taste or smell.
Essential Fatty Acids, particularly Omega 3’s are ESSENTIAL for normal sugar/glycogen metabolism.
The other vitally important nutrients the body uses for normal sugar and glycogen metabolism include:
Magnesium, Potassium and the other trace minerals including Chromium as found in ionic mineral drops and pH Salts.
B-Complex vitamins, not from synthetic sources as commonly found in typical B-Complex supplements.
I recommend our Rice Bran Superfood which has a complex of naturally occurring B vitamins along with their enzymes, transporters and co-factors including CoQ-10, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Glutathione. B vitamins are used up every 5 to 6 hours after ingestion, suggesting the need for replenishment often thru the day. Next best choice for B Complex is a vegetable capsule by Solgar “B-50”.
Vitamin C – not ascorbic acid as found in common dietary supplements. Vitamin C with its metabolites as in Camu Camu fruit powder is ideal. 2 teaspoons x 3 daily, away from food.
Probiotics should be considered in accordance with the status of gut ecology. If a person was exposed to antibiotics and/or was not breast-fed at least 12 months, an aggressive re-inoculation with non-dairy based probiotics is recommended. My choice is Dr. Ohhira’s Original or Professional Formula. Dosage can go from 2 caps 2 times daily, to 30 or 40 capsules daily, depending on the extent of damage from antibiotics. Consider that healthy infants suckle on their mothers for at least 12 months to establish a healthy ecology in the gut, liver, skin, eyes and other tissues of the body.
Digestive Enzymes should be consumed with all cooked food. Some people also have difficultly with beans, broccoli and other vegetables. 1/8 to ¼ teaspoon immunologic’s Digestive Enzyme Powder, sprinkled on any/all food takes the stress of the pancreas.
Thyroid and adrenal function should also be considered, since normal sugar metabolism requires solid communication between pancreas, adrenal and thyroid for accurate secretion of insulin. If cooked oils are part of the diet, the above remedies will have reduced benefit. The nutrients listed above are the same required for adrenal function. Thyroid needs additional support by way of Nascent Iodine – 15 to 20 drops daily provides outstanding thyroid protection and support of this vital mineral for all cells, particularly breast, cervix, uterus, ovaries, prostate and brain.
ATP (adenosine triphosphate) is necessary for proper insulin / glycolosis. Maintaining pH in the normal range of 7.2 to 7.4 measured by urine and saliva at all times of the day or night - is key to enable ATP cell energy development. Nutrients that enable ATP include Vitamin C, ionic minerals, B Complex, CoQ-10 and Alpha Lipoic Acid, Essential Fatty Acids (Rice Bran Superfood) and oxygen, which naturally up-regulates in normal (slightly alkaline pH).
