2024 marks the 30th anniversary of Journey to the North Pole™, formerly known as the Polar Express.

The Seasons Resort 2024 Journey to the North Pole Packages on the North Conway train are available.

This year, our package includes: 2 or 3-nights’ accommodation, your choice of seating in Coach or First Class on the Journey to the North Pole Train in North Conway, and a gift bag filled with goodies and delicious treats for your family including a Gift Certificate to Joseph’s Spaghetti Shed and Italian Market.

Happy Fall, y’all! We are seeing an increase in the traffic in the valley with the “Leaf Peepers” coming to enjoy the fall foliage. If you’re trying to figure out the perfect time to catch the peak foliage…. Good Luck! The fall colors are arriving at a slower pace this year and are presently at about 70% peak foliage. Along the Route 16 corridor from Conway to Bartlett, the foliage on the trees shimmer with a mixture of golds, reds, and orange.

If you’re visiting us this weekend, we highly recommend a drive through Pinkham Notch, Crawford Notch, or the Bear Notch Road to the Kancamagus Highway to take in the spectacular sights.

Have you made plans yet for Columbus Day Weekend, Oct. 11-14? No??? ….. Well, you’re in luck, we still have some availability. The leaves are beginning to change, so come to the White’s and take a scenic drive with breathtaking fall foliage views. Whether it’s a drive through Pinkham Notch, Crawford Notch or over the Bear Notch Road to the Kancamagus Highway, there are several pull off sites to take fabulous photos.

Fall Foliage trips from the Seasons

Pinkham Notch: A great drive with several places to stop and take photos. Be sure to drop in at the Pinkham Visitor’s Center for all kinds of hiking and travel information. Gift shop, and some food.

Crawford Notch: What a view!!! The Silver Cascades, Glen Ellis Falls, Willey House Slide and a view of Frankenstein Trestle! Parking at various spots. Stop by on your way to the Cog Railway!

Conway Scenic Railroad, enjoy a leisurely train ride through the valley in either open car (best for taking photos) or closed car (warmer). You can ride for varying lengths, depending on your destination. The Crawford Notch run is long but provides the most spectacular views!

Intervale Scenic Vista: The scenic overlook has plenty of parking with views of Mount Washington and a good part of the Presidential Range. Visit Trails End for Ice cream across the street.

Kancamagus Highway. This scenic mountainous route has several scenic viewpoints along the way to stop and take photos or just relax and enjoy the scenery. Get out, stretch your legs, walk around a bit.

Echo Lake: truly one of the most unique natural features in the area. Yes, it does echo!

Scenic West Side Road a meandering 35mph drive through rolling farmland and residential homes. Stop at one of the farm stands to get fresh produce and homemade jams and jellies.

Are you coming to the Mount Washington Valley September 6th- 8th?
You should check-out the festivities and join in celebrating 50 years of Mud Bowl. The Mud Bowl is held at Hog Coliseum located in the center of North Conway Village, down behind the community center. Tickets are available each day at the entrance. There will be 12 teams competing over the 3-day event. The 3-day event is packed with entertainment, including a parade on Saturday morning at 9:30 am in North Conway Village featuring competing teams, live music, food vendors and lots of fun.

100% percent of the proceeds from this event will benefit 3 local nonprofits – North Conway Community Center, Vaughn Learning Center and Carroll County RSVP.

Return of the Pumpkin People

For forty years this event has been a fall favorite in our Mount Washington Valley. It’s a self-guided tour through the towns of Jackson, Bartlett, Glen, Intervale, North Conway, Conway and Center Conway. There are more than 60 businesses that participate in this annual event (a friendly competition), creating displays comprised of pumpkins and gourds that are up from October 1st through October 31st. Each display is judged by a panel of judges and the Judges Choice results are announced in early October. The People’s Choice runs the entire month of October where the people can vote for their favorite display through October 31st. Ballots are available at most locations on the back of the pamphlet that contains the map.

This year will surely be a spectacular event as it’s the 40th Birthday Celebration.

The celebration kicks off with the All-Things Pumpkin Festival September 1st - 30th, 2024.

Labor Day Fireworks display presented by the Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Jackson.

Friday, August 2nd at Theater in the Wood in Intervale, NH the Believe in Books Literacy Foundation and Amoskeag Beverage presents "The Side Cars Band - A Tribute to The Cars!"

This show will be held in their brand new outdoor amphitheater!!

The opening act starts at 6:30pm with a musical performance by local musician Candie Tremblay.

Headliner will begin at 7:30pm.

The Side Cars Band are a leading tribute band dedicated to honoring the iconic rock band, The Cars. They deliver an electrifying and authentic live experience that captures the essence of the legendary music of The Cars.

Tickets are $25 online, or $30 at the door. Children under 10 years old are free!

There’s plenty to do in the area this Memorial Day Weekend.

Saturday May 25th:
• Annual Craft Fair at Schouler Park in downtown North Conway on Saturday May 25th 10 am to 5 pm, Rain or Shine. There will be over 100 exhibitors featuring a plethora of delightful foods, crafts, paintings, and toys.
• Food Truck Festival at the North Conway Community Center on Saturday May 25th, 11 am to 4 pm. 8 different trucks featuring pretzels, Gluten Free items, Kettle Corn, and Sandwiched to name a few.
o There will also be a variety of live entertainment from 11 am to 1 pm and again from 2 pm to 4 pm.
• Spring Dance at the North Conway Community Center from 6 pm to 9 pm.
• M & D Playhouse presents Hurricane Diane, a comedy, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
