feet on three levels including 5 Bedrooms PLUS bonus room and 3.5 baths. Modern open kitchen includes gas range with warming drawer, stainless steel refrigerator, contemporary cabinets and island with abundant space for seating. Breakfast nook with huge farm table with seating up to 12. Kitchen overlooks BIG Great Room with soaring vaulted ceiling offering spectacular views to outdoors. Lower level has bonus room with foosball table, large screen TV and lots of space for the kids to relax. Home includes three TVs, Cable, high speed internet, wifi and Game Cube Gaming system. No problems with cell phone reception! Two large rooms upstairs, one with King bed and the other a Queen bed, share large bathroom with separate vanities. On main floor, the Master Suite includes a King Bed, private bathroom, Vaulted Ceiling and private access to deck. 2 Additional rooms (one with King Bed and the other 2 twin beds) downstairs with full private bath. 3 additional roll out beds available for overflow guests. Great outdoor spaces including covered deck, paver patio and big backyard with plenty of space for fun and games. Evenings are a blast roasting marshmallows and relaxing around the large fire pit. Non Smoking! No Pets! Easy access (under 10 minutes) to Julian Price Lake where you can kayak or canoe or try kayaking down the New River for a truly beautiful North Carolina experience. We have 6 kayaks and 2 canoes including trailer available to rent. Take a relaxing hike on one of the many trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway or right next door at Moses Cone Park. Enjoy fishing at Trophy Trout Lake (stocked) less than five minutes away or try your hand at fly fishing at one of the many nearby rivers. Bring your swimsuit and experience Hebron Falls just a 15 minute drive. Only five minute drive to historic Blowing Rock where you can enjoy shopping, cafes and GREAT public park with tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball sand pit and huge playground. Grab a pizza at Mellow Mushroom and some ice cream at Kilwins both located across from town park.
5 minutes down the other side of the mountain puts in you Boone where you can spend an afternoon exploring the beautiful college campus of Appalachian State, take in a football game or enjoy one of the many great restaurants that surround the campus. You will also find all your modern day conveniences including Wal-Mart, Harris Teeter Grocery, Walgreens, Chick-Fila, McDonalds and several choices of great pizza places! In between Boone and Blowing Rock you can find Tweeties Railroad amusement park which puts on a great 4th of July fireworks show and provides lots of fun for families. Located next to Tweeties is Doc’s Gem Mining and Mystery Hill which provide hours of fun for kids!
