Nearby all the Biking and Hiking trails through beautiful forests to waterfalls and scenic overlooks you could want in nearby Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Forest. Swim at ho**er falls in DuPont, or slide down sliding rock in Pisgah, canoe and fish in the lakes at DuPont State Forest, or fly fish the Davidson River. Located 8 minutes from downtown Brevard, the Brevard Music Center, Brevard College and the Porter Center for the Fine Arts. Stroll the idyllic main street Brevard with its unique shops, antiques, and great restaurants like Marco Trattoria, Square Root, Hob Nob, The Pheonix farm to table, Falls Landing, Jamie Creole Brasserie, and Mayberry’s to name a few favorites, just 5 miles away! Be sure to check out the local Saturday morning market just off Main Street for local goods! Enjoy the local breweries like Oscar Blues right here in Brevard with a tasting room and live music and food trucks several nights a week. Or plan ahead and book a tour at Sierra Nevada in Fletcher just 20 miles away, be sure to hit up the bar for tastings, and try their great menu offerings. The house is easily accessible on paved roads at the top of Williamson Creek. A perfect place to have a relaxing, fun, outdoor vacation with all the modern amenities close by! There is so much to do and see in this area we stay 6 weeks a year and don't see or do it all!
