We were having so much fun that we neglected to take great pictures, however…

We found our new favorite activity when visiting the cabin… renting a boat at Alarka marina on Fontana Lake!

Alarka marina is only 10 minutes from the cabin, has great rates, and a fleet of BRAND NEW BOATS AND TUBES! Our family had the greatest time - we know y’all’s will too ❤️

Wow did we have a busy week!! We did a few home improvement projects around the cabin to make the most of your stay with us!

- we added fresh mulch around the deck area and trimmed some weeds
- we brought in a NEW book nook area and added more family games
- one of my most favorite projects was painting the bathroom vanities! (See the before and after pics!)
- new ceiling fan in master bedroom
- new welcome bear greeter at the front door and a new front door rug
- new to us trestle base dining room table! It’s a beauty and we love it!!
- cute new cabinet outside the guest bath upstairs
- adorable little bear light switch plate and small rug for the laundry room bath
- stained the fence outside and added new gold house numbers

We hope you enjoy these little changes as much as we do!!
