If you haven’t already made plans for breakfast tomorrow morning, grab some breakfast provided by the Colby Fire Department for free will donation. All donations will go to support the Kenton Krehbiel Inclusive Playground at Villa High Park.

Make plans to enjoy breakfast down at Sunflower Fest TOMORROW, Saturday the 24th from 8-10am. Skip making breakfast at home and come support the park. Located in Fike Park - look for our big blue banner at people wearing Park Shirts! Thank you Colby Fire Department for doing this!

Get your tossing arm ready for the August 24 Sunflower Festival Colby, KS Co****le Tournaments. The kid's tournament begins at 10 a.m. with the chance to win a prize. Starting at 1 p.m. is the adult competition with a cash prize.

Adult teams are $40 per team of two with free competition for children 12 years old and younger. Register to play at the event.

Start off Sunflower Festival Colby, KS with the color run!

Hello everyone! Happy Monday! We wanted to clarify some things on the Color Run for the Sunflower Festival! Again, there is NO pre-registration online this year. You will sign up AT the event the morning of. Registration starts at 7am til time of the race, and the race will begin at 8am. Location is Fike Park. There will also be an option for a 1 mile route for young runners! We apologize for any confusion. We cannot wait to see everyone!😃

Our last place to relax in Colby is at the Colby Visitors Center right off of I70 exit 53. A favorite space for many locals and travelers, the Visitors Center is the perfect place to eat at the shaded picnic table, check out the geocache, and gather information about attractions around the area and in Kansas.

We’re back with another place to relax in Colby, Kansas. As travelers journey in Northwest Kansas, large bodies of water may be difficult to find; however, this next stop is one water lovers will really enjoy — Villa High Park!

Visit Villa High Park, where you can take a stroll on the walking trail around the lake, capture beautiful pictures on the water, catch fish, play on the playground, enjoy a packed lunch, and write/draw in a journal.

As someone intrigued by art and history, the next relaxation spot is one flourishing with historical artifacts and preservations of the past. Prairie Museum of Art and History is a great place to learn more about pioneer life, explore the largest barn in Kansas, and navigate the indoor exhibits, where the Kuska Collection with glass, furniture, ceramics, toys, and dolls (just to name a few) are located.
