📸 | Peru Day 2 was a day full of culture and history! 🇵🇪🦙🌈

After a one hour flight from Lima to Cusco, we went from sea level to 11,200ft and thankfully skipped the 21 hour bus ride from Lima. 😂🤘

We checked in to the hotel by 8:30 am and had THE MOST DELICIOUS breakfast (the pancakes though …. 😛) anyone could ever dream of. 😁🤤❤️

After that, Kinti toured us around the city center square where there happened to be a parade full of bright beautiful colors and uniquely designed clothing each native group wears to represent their heritage. Fun fact: the rainbow flag is Cusco’s official flag. 🤘🏳️‍🌈🦙🇵🇪

As we worked our way through the parade, Kinti explained everything anyone needs to know about the original marketplace and the following important Incan sites throughout the city.

Of course we had to try out the MTB trails in the stunning countryside and urban stair sets. 😍🤘🚲 Mixed into the shuttles we stopped at an Alpaca and llama farm. 🦙🦙🦙

Then wrapped up the night at a delicious steakhouse!!

Did you know Cusco is an UNESCO World Heritage City?? Even more importantly, it’s the capital and heart of the Inca Empire. This day was, again, so much fun and full of EPIC moments! ❤️❤️

You guys are in for a treat!! 🎯💯

Did you know we have a restaurant, Restaurant XeJun , and pump track for locals wanting to practice the biking skills in Centro Tecpan? 🤔 We serve delicious authentic Mayan meals, herbal drinks in a peaceful setting amongst farms and near the Iximche Mayan Ruins.

Las Codornices Park , thank you so much for hosting us for two days at your stunning property and bike park in Huehuetanengo! 🇬🇹

The combined breathtaking views of the Las Cuchametonas Mountain Range with the beautifully designed, brand new cabins gave us all a peaceful and restful retreat after many days of MTBing, hiking, and filming. ⛰️🔆 As for the bike park, the flow trails, dual slalom, and jumps are very well built and great for any level of rider.
