Carnival Rolls Royce
If you've ever sailed on Carnival Ecstasy, you may remember the vintage 1934 Rolls Royce Saloon onboard, right outside of our Rolls Royce Cafe. Well, after 30 years of sailing on the high seas this old girl will continue traveling...to her new home...on Carnival Celebration!
She'll be carefully placed inside our newest zone, The Gateway, to join our other Carnival memorabilia as we celebrate the evolution of Carnival on this ship.

Debuting soon on our two new ships, Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration, is the groundbreaking fuel technology LNG, or Liquefied Natural Gas, providing many environmental benefits. We help explain how it works and why it’s a game changer, while detailing the various new technologies and processes, both onboard and on shore, necessary for LNG propulsion, and so much more! These are the first two ships in North America to utilize this new fuel source providing eco-friendly fuel, one of the cleanest in the world, significantly reducing emissions with cleaner exhaust.
We worked closely with the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland, our energy and technology partner, Shell, the teams at Port Canaveral and PortMiami, and a host of other parties to bring LNG to North America on these two 180,000-ton Excel-class ships. LNG is part of our comprehensive sustainability and environment efforts to reduce energy consumption and our environmental footprint. We are focused on our commitment to preserving and protecting water air and land resources.
