We always love coming to the island to enjoy time away. The beginning of the week was chilly but a whole lot better than the temperatures we left at home. We have plenty of availability through the Spring and Fall. We also have a few smatterings of summer weeks. Reserve today!

We went out to the beach last night to look for sand crabs. Unfortunately one of the other beachgoers got the wrath of a little crab when he tried to pick it up. Ouch! Then we came upon a momma sea turtle coming up to lay her eggs on the beach. Once in a lifetime opportunity! We promptly kept our distance and left her alone to her work as bright lights and people scare them off quickly. She was huge!

Bennett’s favorite restaurant on the island is Mango Mike’s and I’m partial to Paddy’s. Guess who won out last night. 😉

I got up early to check out the sunrise. Got lucky enough to find the Turtle Patrol scouting out a new nest right in front of the house. I found the sea turtle tracks in the sand and the Bennett tracks on the deck! 👣🐢
